I would like to see CNN make a "minor" projection.

Maybe the projection for last place?

Trump will not win a state tonight.  Mark it down.  Kasich will win Michigan.  Cruz will win Mississippi.  I have Rubio winning Idaho and Hawaii.

Quoted for posterity.

CNN: Cruz campaign hoping for a "good" showing.

How bold and specific.

One question, where does everyone get the notion Rubio will win Hawaii? If anything the Hawaii GOP should easily be pro-Trump

There's quite a few Mormon and Asian Republicans in Hawaii, which would tend to suggest some strength for Rubio.  As to who wins, I'm guessing Cruz (closed caucus, ground game) but a decent showing for all four candidates.

The projections for the non-winners would be classified as minor, I'm sure, though not broadcasted as such.

After the early call in Louisiana, probably not. The top of the hour call is probably just for Clinton in MS.

Yeah. I was kind of joking, but perhaps contested Congressional primaries would also qualify as such.

I'm guessing Trump dominates in the Northeast corner of MS and in CD-2. I imagine Cruz will do the best in Jackson/Memphis suburbs.

MSNBC is projecting MS as too early to call with a Trump lead.

Uh, I think they updated their Mississippi exit poll mid-display?  That was bizarre.

Trump 49%, Cruz 36%, Kasich & Rubio 7%

Fox News: Too early to project a winner in Mississippi, but exit polls show Trump with a sizable lead over Cruz and the others lagging behind.

Not if you look at their website:

http://edition.cnn.com/election/primaries/states/ms/

Trump is 49% among men and 41% among women, which means 45% total.
