Christmas? Seriously? It's August. Why don't you focus on Labor Day?

Lowe's Home Improvement Stores, at least here in Oklahoma City Metro, will get their Christmas Decorations out within 2 weeks from now.

It was school wide in all programs, not just CADD.  Since I didn't go, I have no idea.

Speaking of Christmas as of midnight, September 1, 2013 (3 hours from now) there will be exactly 115 shopping days until Christmas.

Why is it that the one thing you're proactive on is a vapid, consumerist mockery of the birth of Christ (which FTR was probably in June)?

Because, you see, the good Lord Jesus Christ is what absolves him of all human responsibility. That blessing is the most important thing in his life, as it drives all his decisions. Why wouldn't he be excited to celebrate?!

You guys are reading too much into the Christmas thing. He's just excited that his parents will spend even more money on him than usual.

So, it is September 2013, the start of a great month and the start of the final third of 2013.  I plan to make a lot of progress in my school work furthering my dreams to become a Drafter.  Despite the naysayers chirping in my ear, I will pay no attention to them because they do not control anything.  I've got several birthdays this month.  The Great State Fair of Oklahoma is this month.  Christmas is only 114 days away.  Thanksgiving is the month after next and Halloween is next month.

The most important part of this--the only part that matters--is getting up and going to class every day you can, no excuse, no saying that authority figures excused you from going--just committing to your work. You can do it.

I made three days this past week - Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so there is recent precedent!

Yes but you're mentally attached to slacking off.  If last week were a 7 day session you would have gone 5.

I plan on making September a perfect attendance month.  However, I am better served by starting with this first week and even better served focusing on just Tuesday.  When Tuesday at 14:15 hits, I can focus on Wednesday, then Thursday, then Monday and so on.

I do slack off from time to time, and you're right, with how I felt most of the week, if last week were a 7 day session, I would have probably gone 5, maybe 4 because there some days I felt absolutely crummy, even the first three days of the week.

To be honest, a little weird at first, but then a lot of adults do the same thing so that makes it better.  It's what I got to do to get myself out of the call center.

Of course not.  Only parents of high school students are invited.  If anybody should attend my parent teacher conference, it is me because since I am well over the age of 18, I am responsible for myself.  Mom and Dad have no responsibility over me.  Plus, since I am paying for this all myself, they really have no say except encouragement to go.
