Mitch Daniels's Schedule: January 29 to January 31, 2012:

Fear and loathing in Las Vegas:

January 29th:

Holding fundraisers in Reno, NV.
Barnstorm and Rally in Reno, NV, speech about the debt crisis.
Town Hall in Elko, NV.
Town Hall in Enterprise, NV.

"I have already said this on a debate: the ink of the debt crisis is the new red menace. We may not notice how it increases, but we have to face that our deficits will run this country to a fiscal disaster on the future. You may choose to blame President Bush or me for said crisis, like President Obama implies. But hear this: the deficit has increased under Obama to a whole new level, and he managed to do that with a democratic congress backing him all the way. Is that what we want for our country?"

January 30th:

Bus Tour in Fallon, NV.
Bus Tour in Fernley, NV.
Bus Tour in Mesquite, NV.
Rally in Henderson, NV, speech about health care.

"As Governor of Indiana, I pursued a health care reform that involved a mix of the public services with an approach to the free market. Some folks said that it was going to fail, but more and more hoosiers have improved their life standards because of it, and more and more people join every day. We don't need the so called solution that Obamacare claims to be, we can do it in a more efficient and less intrusive way!

January 31th:

Barnstorming Las Vegas, NV.
Tour of some Casinos, trying to encourage gamblers to put their luck behind Daniels.
Rallies in Las Vegas, NV, then holding a press conference about the Florida Results.

"I have discovered the wonders of Nevada on this tour, and it is not only gambling. (Laughter) Seriously, this state has always put a lot of effort in what believes and wants, and I want to invoke that same spirit by the time we arrive to the results. I need your luck, Nevada, and you are the one state that can help me to recover the lead on this race! Some may say that is it foolish to focus on Nevada when the rest of the field is on Florida, but I can feel that a stroke of luck is coming for us! Let us go forward!"

Daniels Ads:

Ad #1: Balancing the budgetSad (To be played on Nevada, Colorado, Maine, Minnesota and Michigan)Sad

(Pictures of the debt crisis, budget fights on congress and graphics that show the rise of the national debt)

Daniels: For the last four years we have seen a massive increase on the debt and the deficit, and more and more wasteful spending is added in Washington, and that's a price that you have to pay. As Governor and Budget Director, I have always fought for balanced budgets and for having a prudent and efficient handling of the economy. If you agree with me about the need to do something about your budget, please get out and vote, so we can send a clear message. I'm Mitch Daniels, and I approve this ad.

Hutchison Campaign Schedule January 29th-31st

"Florida, in just a few hours y'all will sit down and vote, what Americans have been doing for hundreds of years. The choice in these coming days in more serious than most however, as our entire future will be affected by it. As we approach the coming election we need a candidate who will stand up to the President and frankly give it to him straight. We have too many people out of work, too many people without homes, and too many people who have had great potential but little success due to the economic downturn. Its time we tell the President we don't want 4 more years of his failed policies, and I will if I am given the honor of representing this Party in November."

January 29th, 2012- FLORIDA
Speech in Miami with Jeb Bush on the economy
Meet and Greet in Daytona Beach with undecided voters
Rally in Tallahassee with Connie Mack
Speech to Republican Women in Miami
Appearance on the O'Reilly Factor

January 30th, 2012- FLORIDA
Rally in Orlando with undecided voters
Speech to Cuban Americans focusing on unemployment
Rally with Jeb Bush in Orlando
Speech on the economy in Key West
Appearance on CNN Newsroom

January 31st, 2012- FLORIDA
Meet with voters in Boca Raton
Lunch with voters in Miami
Meet with voters in Orlando
Meet with voters in Tallahassee
Meet with voters in Pensacola
Watch results
Speech following results in Tallahassee alongside Jeb Bush, Connie Mack, Lindsey Graham, and Ray Hutchison
Speech to Volunteers in Orlando
"As y'all go and vote today, I would first like to thank all of the volunteers who have given so much time and energy in Iowa, SC, New Hampshire, and here. Your guys' effort is greatly appreciated and means the world to me. We need to make a statement and because of you guys that's possible. This kind of grassroots campaign is something are nation needs and frankly, contrasts greatly to the President who claims to be in the Party of the people while going to fundraiser with large donors. Now lets win this thing, together!"

OOC: Can't wait for the Florida results, since they will prove quite decisive for Huntsman, Ayotte and Hutchinson (and it will be a bloodbath). Depending on a Hutchinson or Ayotte win, I'd say that those two have the ability to last longer on a prolonged primary. On the other hand, Huckabee, Huntsman and myself are going to need at least one victory in Nevada, Colorado, Missouri and Maine if we want to stay viable.

FLORIDA PRIMARY RESULTS

Isaac: Good Evening! Today is a big day in the race for the White House, as the largest state to date, Florida, let's their voice be heard.

Debbie: It's shaping up to be a good one - Senator Hutchison led here for much of December and January, but a late surge by Senator Ayotte vaulted her ahead. Polls now have Hutchison just slightly ahead, but we also have former Governor Jon Huntsman surging - could he pull a surprise tonight?

Isaac: We'll see - Huntsman has spent more time here than anyone else, and while he doesn't have the big names, a lot of local leaders have supported him here, and he's also received some nice editorials in the newspapers.

Florida (2% Reporting)
Ayotte: 28%
Huckabee: 21%
Hutchison: 17%
Huntsman: 13%
Daniels: 9%

Debbie: Some surprising numbers to begin the night!

Isaac: Well, these are all coming from a couple precincts in northern Florida, typically a more conservative area - Huckabee actually carried this area in 2008.

Florida (22% Reporting)
Ayotte: 26%
Hutchison: 26%
Huntsman: 24%
Huckabee: 12%
Daniels: 10%

Debbie: And now things are starting to look better. Any surprise thus far?

Isaac: Huntsman is overperforming, certainly. Perhaps Daniels' supporters backed him instead, as their candidate has no shot in the state.

Florida (50% Reporting)
Hutchison: 27%
Huntsman: 26%
Ayotte: 25%
Huckabee: 11%
Daniels: 9%

Isaac: It appears we're shaping up for an exciting, three-way race, Debbie.

Debbie: It appears so. This has to be one of the most exciting primary seasons in recent memory. Republicans should be very grateful as well, as all four candidates are pretty good, and the commitment to focusing on Obama will likely lead to a more united party this fall.

Florida (72% Reporting)
Hutchison: 26%
Huntsman: 26%
Ayotte: 25%
Huckabee: 12%
Daniels: 8%

Isaac: Huntsman is closing the gap on Hutchison - regardless of whether they win, I'm sure his campaign will be celebrating such a strong performance tonight.

Debbie: Not a great night for the Ayotte campaign, but I'm sure she can recover. Her numbers are looking good in Maine, though it appears the real battle is going to be Michigan and Arizona in about a month.

Florida (91% Reporting)
Hutchison: 27%
Huntsman: 25%
Ayotte: 25%
Huckabee: 12%
Daniels: 9%

Isaac: With 91% reporting, it appears Hutchison is starting to just barely pull away.

Debbie: With a win tonight, I expect Hutchison to start surging - while there's still a long ways to go, I think you could call her the lean frontrunner with a win tonight.

Isaac: And we're going to find out in a couple days how the polls look with back-to-back Hutchison wins, because with 95% now in, we can project that KAY BAILEY HUTCHISON WILL WIN THE FLORIDA PRIMARY.

Florida (100% Reporting)
Hutchison: 27%
Huntsman: 26%
Ayotte: 24%
Huckabee: 12%
Daniels: 9%

OOC: Huntsman's dead numbers I think revive after this, corresponding to a continual decline in Huckabee's numbers. Daniels is in trouble with Huntsman coming this close: Nevada is the next Primary. And certainly, Hutchinson's lead will grow and she's getting harder to beat.

Not sure about Ayotte's standing, whether this cements her as a regional candidate or not.

OOC: If the April 24th primaries were held in February instead, Ayotte would be in great shape. As it stands, after Vermont and Maine, there's a long stretch with no Northeastern primaries, so she's going to have to start setting up shop in some Super Tuesday states, as are the other candidates. A lot of Super Tuesday states are completely wide open, and with several Southern states thrown in there, I think any candidate, Huckabee included, could walk out of Super Tuesday as the frontrunner. It could also be when Hutchison officially puts everyone else away.

Kelly Ayotte Statement
I congratulate Senator Hutchison on her win in the state of Florida.  I also would like to point out that 51% of Rep voted for a women in the primary tonight, a great barier which has been broken.

OOC:  This Next week, I am going to start setting up shop all over the country, and I will definitely be using my surrogates, and will be using the phrase, I have the 2008 REP Ticket supporting me.  Thanks for that Jay.

"Well, this certainly wasn't what we expected. I would like to congratulate Sen. Hutchinson on her victory, and Gov. Huntsman and Sen. Ayotte on their performances tonight. While I would have expected a stronger showing in Florida, I'm confident that we will manage to triumph in Nevada."

"WE DID IT! Florida, thank you so much! First off, I'd like to congratulate John Huntsman and Kelly Ayotte for their strong showings. Also, I'd like to thank every other candidate in this race for running. Just by doing so you're showing the opposition to the President's failed policies! We don't need 4 more years of failure and disappointment, we need 4 years of recovery and unification, and that's why I'm running. The President has tried time and time again to divide this party by creating the image of multiple factions at war with each other, what he's really trying to downplay is the fact that members of our Party have multiple opinions on how we can get America moving again. But, unlike the Democrats, we listen! Libertarians, Conservatives, and Centrists are in this Party and they all want whats best for America! So why not sit down, discuss the issues, and work together?

Tomorrow this campaign will move forward, on to the next Primaries. But don't worry Florida, we'll be back for the RNC in Tampa!"

Hutchison Surging!

The Hutchison campaign is firing on all cylinders, following victories in South Carolina and Florida.

However, this race isn't over yet, and the remaining candidates have reasons to remain optimistic. Despite no delegates being awarded, Huckabee is hoping a win in Missouri can put his campaign back on track. Daniels is vying for wins in Nevada and Minnesota, while Huntsman is hoping a victory in Colorado or Nevada can give his campaign serious clout.

Senator Ayotte appears to be looking past the next caucus states, instead focusing on a win in Maine and Super Tuesday states. While Hutchison has the clear advantage, especially when you look at polling in Super Tuesday states, but a lot can happen between then and now.

"Randomizer" (Will reflect in next polling update)
Daniels Campaign Has Most Funds on Hand !
Ayotte has poor interview on Face The Nation

This turn will last for 72 hours! Please PM me on which states would would like to see polled.

Once everyone is done for the week, I will start off with the Nevada numbers (Nevada votes on the 4th), followed by results for Minnesota and Colorado.

Jesse Ventura Campaign Schedule: February 1-7

February 1
-Rally in Greenwood Village, CO
-Rally in Golden, CO
-Rally in Northglenn, CO
-Rally in Wheat Ridge, CO
-Rally in North Aurora, CO

Well, I sent an invitation to all of the candidates to include me in the debates so that Americans can have a fair election and see where everyone is coming from. And guess what? Nobody responded! Doesn't that just speak volumes about where their hearts really lie? They certainly don't give a damn about being fair, that's for sure. It's a reminder to us all working out there that we must only work harder if we want to see this campaign be successful, and so I ask of everyone in the audience to do what you can to make sure that the message will be spread.

February 2
-Rally and Fundraiser in Anaheim, CA
-Rally and Fundraiser in Riverside, CA
-Rally and Fundraiser in San Francisco, CA
-Rally and Fundraiser in Los Angeles, CA

February 3
-Town Hall in Douglas, WY
-Town Hall in Worland, WY
-Town Hall in Cody, WY
-Rally and Fundraiser in Casper, WY
-Rally and Fundraiser in Cheyenne, WY

It's funny how the Republicans are proclaiming themselves to be "fiscally conservative." Really, now? Last time I checked, they weren't so fiscally conservative when they supported costly and unnecessary wars in the Middle East, or when they voted for bailouts for irresponsible banks, or with an expansion of Medicare that had no plan to be financed either. Yes, we need leaders who will be fiscally conscious, but they sure don't represent that.

Surrogate Schedules

Ron Paul: Rallies in Nevada, Texas, Maine, and Montana

Barry Goldwater, Jr.: Rallies in Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado

TV Ad: Interests

Goldman Sachs. JPMorgan. Bank of America. Citigroup. These institutions were bailed out at the beginning of the recession for their reckless behavior, and they got no punishment in return. Meanwhile, average Americans who suffered under the banks got nothing. Where does the interests of politicians in Washington lie: their constituents who voted them in, or the institutions who fund their campaigns? It's time we had someone who actually represents the people. As governor, that was my number one priority in office, and I worked as hard as I can to combat the influence of cronies. Join me, and we can make a real change for once. I'm Jesse Ventura, and I approve this message.

Huckabee Speaking to Supporters in Joplin, MO

EXCERPTS FROM SPEECH ON EDUCATION:
"...Prepare our children to meet the demands of the 21st Century. We live in the richest and most powerful nation, there is no reason every child can't have a first class education. That's why, as governor, I emphasized fundamentals, and set up back-to-basics programs in math and reading that improved test scores dramatically. However, I do not believe it should be a top down approach, school decisions should be made at the state and local level, not at the federal government...we need to see that our students are being put first, and that they are the priority...An education is empowerment. The lack of it leads us to incredible, just all kinds of obstacles in our path. And we always talk about we need more math and science. But one of the reasons we have kids failing is not because they’re dumb, it’s they’re bored. They’re bored with a curriculum that doesn’t touch them. We have schools that are about perpetuating the schools, not helping the students. I propose launching Weapons of Mass Instruction, making sure that we are launching not only the math and science, but music and art programs that touch the right side of the brain, and not only educate the left side of the student’s brain. Because without a creative economy and a creative student, you have a bored student, and that’s one of the reasons we see so many of them dropping out..."

Mitch Daniels's Schedule: February 1 to February 7, 2012:

The New Campaign Theme:

"Change. We heard a lot about change in 2008, and now we see the kind of change we have. We need a different kind of talk about change, because we need a different change, and I will be using that as the new theme to define my campaign. To all the voters in the great state of Nevada, our journey goes on! With another kind of change, a change that believes in you!"

February 1st:

Town Hall in Winnemucca, NV.
Town Hall in Zephyr Cove, NV.
Barnstorming Reno, NV.
Holding rallies Reno, NV, about the state of the race.

"Sure, the Florida results were not what we expected, but our campaign goes on. Quitting after the first setbacks is not something a President should do, and a prolonged primary, more than hurting the candidate, proves his credentials. That the reason why I hope you, Nevada, will give me a victory. And I'll tell you more: Even if defeated, I will not drop out. I give you my word, I won't quit."

February 2nd:

Barnstorm Winchester, NV.
Barnstorm Whitney, NV.
Barnstorm and hold rallies in Sunrise Manor, NV.

"One of the goals of this campaign is to create a clear contrast to the Democrats, and show why we are ready and prepared to save this country. Nevada is a state that voted for President Obama in the past election, but I'm confident that they will vote for the Republican nominee this year... Which I hope is standing right here (Laughs)."

February 3rd:

Barnstorm and hold rallies in Paradise, NV.
Town Hall in Carson City, NV.
Town Hall in Clark, NV.
Barnstorm and hold rallies in Henderson, NV.

"Making decisions in foregin policy is never an easy task. But when you have a clear vision, when you know what you want for the world, you can achieve things. Do you know what I believe? I believe that we must use our influence in a positive way, we have to stand up for our allies, fight for democracy, stand up to countries like North Korea, Iran or Syria, and prove that the United States can have a positive and strong influence. President Bush wanted strong, President Obama wanted positive. But I ask to you, why not both?"

February 4th:

Breakfast with supporters in Campaign Office in Reno, NV.
Take a tour in Las Vegas, greeting supporters on the way.
Holding rallies in some of the Casinos.
Final Pre-Primary Press Conference.
Final Nevada Party in the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, Las Vegas, NV.

"Get out and vote, Nevada! I have said this in every state I have been to, because I believe it is right: You have to send the message. Things won't change if you don't make the effort, and that's why I need your support. Only with your help we will go to Super Tuesday, to Tampa, and to Washington! Give me your help so I can help you then, Nevada!"

February 5th:

Fly to Minnesota, rest during the morning.
Barnstorm Minneapolis, MN.
Rallies in Minneapolis, MN, stressing the need for leadership.

"A President and a Commander in Chief has to know how to lead. The ability to lead enables you to compromise and push your ideas forward, to help the people you want to help, to change the things that are wrong. I like to think that I have that ability, and that I applied it to the state of Indiana with success. Bold leadership, bold republican leadership, is what we need."

February 6th:

Bus Tour in Virginia, MN.
Bus Tour in Vaconia, MN.
Bus Tour in St. Louis Park, MN.
Barnstorm and Rally in St. Paul, MN.

"This country requires a more efficient economic management. We have to erase the deficit, we have to balance the budget, and we have to spend less. And not only we have do to it, we can do it! I did it in Indiana, and I think I can do it in America!"

February 7st:

Barnstorm and Rally in Rochester, MN.
Barnstorm and Rally in Lakeville, MN.
Small tour in St. Paul, MM.
Party at local Campaign Headquarters in St. Paul, MN.

"Today our campaign gains new strength, new life, and it will be thanks to you, Minnesota! We will go to Michigan, to Washington, to Virginia, to Super Tuesday! I am confident that you will give us a wonderful surprise, especially when we all know that, on this race, all victories are hard fought."
