Good evening and welcome to tonight's debate I'm Joe Scarborough and here are the rules for the debate. The Audience behind me has agreed to be silent or risk being thrown in prison. Candidates will be asked a variety of questions, and are permitted to answer questions asked of others if they feel so inclined. Each candidate however must answer the question or questions they were specifically asked.

7
To Congressman Paul What would be the Ideal running mate be for a candidacy as unorthodox as yours has been?

To Governor Daniels/i] As President, how would repair our relationship with Pakistan?

To All Candidates Which defeated former candidates endorsement do you want most from this cycle?

To Senator Ayotte How do you intend to cope with President Obama's attacks on you're records on Abortion and Gay Marriage should you become the nominee?

To Senator Hutchison As President how would you handle replacing a Supreme Court Justice?

To Senator Ayotte What position would you take on the recent movement to repeal the voting rights act?

To All candidates If you had to leave the race for any reason, name one other candidate on this lectern who you would endorse for President.

This concludes this Republican Primary debate

Ron Paul Debate Answers!

1. "Well I have a lot of options on the table. I think Governor Gary Johnson is very good, I think Former Representative Barry Goldwater Jr. is very good, I would even go into the private sector and look at Businessman Steve Forbes or columnist Pat Buchanan. The only one of the former candidates I would even consider is Buddy Roemer."

3. "I would like to see an endorsement from Buddy Roemer, who is the only other candidates who sees the establishment for what it is: a fraud. I would like to see an endorsement from the other people who left the race, but I don't think any of them would, and I'm not surprised because I don't think they see eye to eye with me very much."

7. "I wouldn't endorse any of them. I think Mitch Daniels has done some promising things as Governor of Indiana, but most of this race has seen him capitulate and capitulate to the Democratic talking point. I would endorse Jesse Ventura, quite simply, none of the candidates that are up here as of this moment."

Mitch Daniels debate answers:

2.- "By giving strength to real government in Pakistan, a truly democratic and strong government. Right now you see all kinds of alternate centers of power in Pakistan, and sometimes the work of intelligence agencies, the military and economical groups can make cooperation really hard. If we actually stick to our ideal of actually supporting democracy instead of supplying these interest groups with billions of dollars and high powered weapons, we would see real progress.

President Asif Ali Zardari is a true friend of our country, and he is the one we should be helping, he is the one we must establish a true relationship with. Look, I have no doubt that as long as we give our confidence to his government and we help him deal with some of the shady groups there we will have a true friend of ours in Pakistan, instead of the diplomatic mess we have right now."

3.- "From the candidates that withdrew before the primaries, I'd like to have the support of Gov. Romney and Sen. Corker. They ran great campaigns, they are principled men, and they represent many of the things we want in the GOP. Now, when it comes to candidates who actually fought on the primaries, Buddy Roemer is a principled man that stands up to what he believes, and for me that is as important as his view on the issues."

7.- "Though I'm confident that it won't be the case, I wouldn't mind endorsing the candidates on this stage. We have our differences, but everybody here brings something important to the table. Sen. Hutchison brings her principled character, Sen. Ayotte brings some refreshing conservative views and Congressman Paul gives us a different take, which is always needed to avoid loosing perspective. Still, I like to think that I'm the one who brings the most to the table, hence my confidence."

Hutchison debate responses-

Quote
You must be logged in to read this quote.

"Governor Roemer and Governor Romney. Buddy Roemer showed himself a crusader for those disenchanted with the current political system where money, not merit, determines elections. I believe campaign finance reform needs to be discussed again. Gov. Roemer stood by his views consistently and courageously and that's someone whose support I'd be honored to have. Governor Romney ran one of the best campaigns in this race. Not only did he show himself devoted to those American people who are currently living in sub-par economic conditions, he had solutions."

Quote

"What I'd look for in a Supreme Court nominee would be someone who truly grasps both the Constitution and the spirit of the Constitution. We've seen some justices in the past who may not have been the best fits for the position and that's something I truly want to avoid. The American people need the best and brightest defending our nation's most important document in Court. "

Quote

"It'd likely either be Mitch Daniels or Kelly Ayotte. Both have consistently shown themselves to be able leaders and honest, open people and that's something we need in a President. Also, its been an honor to serve as one of the GOP women Senators alongside Kelly. I think we can all agree however, that every candidate up here would do much better than the current Administration."

"And our campaign grows stronger each day! I have to admit that I'm quite satisfied with the debate results, and I proudly claim the victory for our message! There's a week before the Michigan Primary, and I can feel the momentum growing. We will win, and we will stand closer to a really strong performance in Super Tuesday!"

Mitch Daniels's Schedule: February 23 to February 28, 2012:

"This could be the start of something big..."Sad

"Here we go, Michigan! We may be down in the polls, but we are going to give a surprise tonight! This is the week of our comeback, the week in which we retake our lead on the race! This is very far from over! We gave surprises in Iowa, we gave them on Nevada, we gave another one in Minnesota, and the final one on the debate... And there's still time for our last surprise, the victory of an underdog in Michigan!"

February 23rd:

Fly to Detroit, hold a major campaign rally with Rick Snyder.
Barnstorming Detroit with Rick Snyder.
Fundraising in Campaign Headquarters in Detroit.
Press Conference:

"Look, many people seem to believe that this race is over and that Sen. Hutchinson will win regardless of what happens... But far from it, most of the states haven't voted yet! Don't you think that it's a little unfair to disregard the voice of the states? We are fighting for them, after all, and we will continue to do so! Arizona, Michigan, Wyoming, Washington, give us your help!"

February 24th:

Speeches about economic recovery in Detroit, MI.
Tour of stores and minor business in Detroit, MI.
Rallies in Detroit, MI.

"Economic recovery can be achieved! I know that many of you in the audience may be critical of our party because of the major damage that Michigan suffered in 2008, but the Republican Party is the party that is truly ready to lead this country intro a boom. Economic responsibility, dealing with the debt crisis and a balanced budget are a part of that, and the other is bringing jobs. After your years of malaise, I ask you to give us a chance to turn things around, to save Michigan and lead it into real prosperity. Not just numbers, not just more money for the banks, but real jobs and real opportunities for the middle class."

February 25th:

Town Hall in Westland, MI.
Town Hall in Southfield, MI.
Town Hall in Wyoming, MI.
Barnstorming and Rally in Grand Rapids, MI.

"True leadership is achieved when the leader has the experience, the wits and the character. Now, some people contend that all kinds of experience are equal, but I don't think that's true. After all, who's is better prepared to lead? Someone with legislative experience or someone with executive experience? Barack Obama only had a few years of legislative experience, and we can see the result of that. Let us bring a true executive leader into the White House!"

February 26th:

Bus Tour in Lansing, MI.
Bus Tour in Ann Harbor, MI.
Bus Tour in Flint, MI.
Barnstorm and Rally in Warren, MI.

"We want a stronger foreign policy, we want a stable economy, we want a balanced budget and we want true greatness for America. I want to offer that to you, and while I'm aware that my words may sound overtly ambitious, ambition is what drives this country. Not the ambition for mere power, but wanting power to achieve great things. How else do you explain the triumphs of American history? Things may look bad, but we can always retake the lead as a country and become stronger. We just need the spirit and the right leader."

February 27th:

Barnstorm and Rally in Grand Rapids, MI.
Barnstorm and Rally in Livonia, MI.
Barnstorm and Rally in Dearborn, MI.
Rally in Detroit, MI.

"I look at the future with confidence, my friends... The GOP is ready to retake the White House and give a America a real real forward. Our campaign remains strong and we are ready to become the messengers of the GOP, the guys who want to retake our country. I say this because this is not a one-man campaign... Hundreds of volunteers, staffers and friends, dozens of endorsers, of candidates, party officers, office holders... They are the ones who give my campaign a real spirit, and they are the people I want with me on the White House: Condi Rice, Tim Pawlenty, Rob Portman, Brian Sandoval, Scott Walker, Newt Gingrich, and so many others!"

February 28th:

Morning Tour of Detroit, MI, visiting colleges and stores.
Lunch with supporters and staffers.
Several rallies in Detroit, MI.
Final Press Conference.
Final Rally with Rick Snyder, Tim Pawlenty, John Kasich, Scott Walker and Condi Rice.
Party in Michigan Campaign HQ.

"Listen to me! We will win Michigan tonight! It has been long, it has been hard, and it has taken a lot of effort, but we are going to see our reward tonight, the night where we upset our new frontrunner. I have nothing personal against Sen. Hutchinson, and she has been a fantastic voice for moderation during the entire primary season, but I feel I can provide better leadership for the GOP and for America! Get out and vote, Michigan, get out and vote, and we will win! With your help, we will win this primary and we will move forward to the nomination!"

Daniels Ad: "The right man for Michigan"Sad

To run in Michigan.

Rick Snyder: Hello, Michigan, I'm your Governor, Rick Snyder, and I'd like to speak a few words with you about Mitch Daniels. I endorsed him for President because I think he has the record, the bold ideas and the leadership to succeed... But more important, because he is the right man for Michigan, the right man to help Michigan. Mitch Daniels has what it takes to build a foundation for Michigan's renewed success success both in this global economy and against the current hardships we are facing.

Mitch Daniels: Good morning, I'm Mitch Daniels, and I want to echo Governor Snyder comment's. Michigan needs a leader in the White House to help the state and provide real economic growth, and I think my Indiana record shows that I can do it. I know I can, and that's why I approve this ad.
