There is a non-zero chance I could see Palin trying to create a new image in the Cheney style, the crazy lane is getting kinda full

That sounds as awkward as when a winner is named in Miss America, or a reality competition show, or something.
That's actually how every UK Parliamentary election winner is announced.

It still sounds uncomfortable to watch.

It actually can be really interesting as you get people like Lord Buckethead on the same stage as Theresa May. Very egalitarian if you ask me

Too bad it's only for a few months and Begich will handily defeat her in November. Cool though! I like Peltola.

Eh Alaska is one of the most elastic states. I wouldn’t count her out

I’m extremely cautiously optimistic but this firmly cements my belief that the absolute ceiling for republicans is 225, more realistically they’ll land right around 220.

Democrats really could potentially keep the house this year

It honestly would be smart for Murkowski to just put and endorse Peltola. Build some goodwill towards the Democratic voters to help her win

Alaska is a very small state with a huge diversity in economy/education/etc while also having a good third of the population in glad handing distance. This is the state where nearly 20% of the legislature is either independent, non-caucusing, or outright in coalition with democrats. Said democratic coalition has lead the state since 2016.

I am extremely hesitant to draw conclusions based of one race in such a state, but it still makes me feel better about November.
