IDF needs to release a statement quickly then. Multiple news organizations are just verbatim quoting Palestinian officials that it was an IDF strike.

Israel is required to painstakingly determine how each baby’s head was removed from its body. Hamas spits out propaganda and it’s immediately regurgitated by the media who repackage it as a neutral statement from “Palestinian authorities.”

I am not a rocket scientist (….) but don’t rockets have a lot of fuel in them, in addition to the ordinance? This is what distinguishes them from shells. If the rocket hit the ground almost immediately after shooting off (as the video shows) wouldn’t the mostly unspent fuel all igniting explain the explosion?

All this would be very interesting if there was in fact a leveled hospital, instead of a damaging rocket strike in a parking lot with plenty of casualties in the overcrowded area. The fully revealed true level of damage is perfectly in line with a Hamas failed missile strike.

Yeah this was all somewhat mysterious last night but now that it’s clear that the “blown up hospital” and 500-800 dead claims were despicable Hamas lies, there’s no real mystery to what happened anymore.

I suppose the most optimistic scenario is that hamas' control is as superficial as isis's was of mosul; and that everybody in gaza have hated their guts for years and even give them some of the blame for the carnage. Then you could indeed reintroduce PA authority over Gaza, although god knows what could happen then.

The PA s effectively no legitimacy left among t Palestinian population because it functions as a kleptocratic puppet state.

The first major rain in Gaza saw lots of Hamas fighters spring out of the shallower tunnels, which the IDF exploited and went on the offensive. So today we're seeing open street battles for the first time, all across the line in Gaza City. Israeli forces are now pushing east all along

The MSM is doing what it typically does which is names, smiling faces, ages, and emotion laden stories of individual Israeli hostages freed, not a single one of Palestinian prisoners freed, just numbers in passing. If I hadn't been blackpilled on the MSM already from Covid this would have done it.

Because it isn't. I am a Palestinian. I have been in Palestine. Palestinians are just normal people.

Gaza is filled with 2.5 million innocent people, held hostage by Hamas. Hamas illegally and violently seized control of the strip in 2007. No, they won't voted into power. They won a plurity and their platform was very different than their rule.

But I guess its easier to justify 25k deaths if you think the people dying are brainwashed

Every poll I have seen shows that Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank are broadly supportive of the 10/7 attack and Hamas (and if anything the more extreme rivals of Hamas are even more popular) and opposed to a Jewish state. That obviously doesn’t justify wanton murder of Palestinians (just because a civilian has evil beliefs doesn’t mean they should be killed) but it’s still the reality that needs to be dealt with when trying to solve this conflict.
