Obama was bad.

Clinton was mediocre at best.

Reagan was just meh.

Ford was one of the better presidents and the last president to date to be somewhat decent.

Nixon wasn't completely awful.

LBJ was horrible.

Trump is not the worst president of all time, I debate whether I'd even put him in the top 10 even though he's still clearly an awful president.

FDR wasn't that good.

I actually agree with almost all of these but I would swap ford and nixon

Ill even throw one in (a nuclear one)

Lincoln isn't even in the to 5 best (but I do agree with top 10)

Scratch this, Trump definitely deserves to be in the top 10 after today if not the top 5.

Even if Joe Biden accomplished nothing else, if all he managed to do was to pack SCOTUS with 8 new seats, I would still consider his presidency to be a smashing success.

This either says a lot of things about you or a lot of things about the utter lunacy of the American political system. Or both.

Biden's vaccine rollout plan is not only going to make the situation worse, but lead to an explosion of antivaxxers as they watch and see them fail to actually work.

The electoral map if it was by donations. In general, the donations map has Biden doing better in the rust belt, and poorer in the sunbelt, which makes sense, since many of the voters they rely on in the sunbelt are poorer than their northern counterparts.

This map foreshadowed Biden's relative weakness in the Sunbelt and relative strength in the (white) Northeast. RIP Atlas's collective dreams of blue Iowa and blue Ohio.

Just like how Sanders' strength with Latino and (urban, working-class) Asian voters in the Dem primary foreshadowed Biden's weakness with those groups in the GE... Biden's "surprise" victory on Super Tuesday actually foreshadowed the Democrats' underperformance on November 3rd.

Biden plans to release all vaccine stock instead of holding half in reserve. The vaccines require boosters taken at specific intervals, and the only way to guarantee stock is to reserve half. So much for Democrats being the "party of science".

Imagine if this map foretells the county results.

I can’t wait for Biden to sweep upstate New York while Trump flips Clark, Bexar, and Miami-Dade! Biden will bring back the white working class while Trump breaks even with Hispanics! #Realignment2020

The map is probably a good estimate of the college-educated white vote in each county but overlooks some key demographics.

I remember the huge advantage in Biden donations in upstate New York and huge advantages in Trump donations in Las Vegas and Miami and wondering if anything would come of it. Turns out it was somewhat predictive of the trends in November.

The 2022 midterms might not be bad for democrats. The senate map is more lopsided than 2018 was for the GOP, the economy has a good chance of being in recovery, the storming the capital is going to be easy attack as fodder, and Trump is going to try and make it about him which could charge dem suburban turnout

This far out anywhere from D+4 to R+5 is possible for the Senate, tho anything beyond a 2 seat swing in either direction is highly speculative and dependent upon what happens.

My understanding is the optimal interval is not known.

Woodrow Wilson was a net good domestically, laying the ground for the New Deal. This is not negated by the more negative sides to his record (particularly in foreign affairs).

No, Wilson was a white supremacist. We need to decolonize our history by repealing laws he passed such as the federal income tax and the federal reserve; this is the only way for us to pay reparations to the #POC black and brown bodies who were marginalized by Wilson's administration.

Imagine being a black American, getting reparations and buying a nice car, and then 10 months later the lack of federal road maintenance makes driving cars untenable.

We as a species are about 30,000 years past our peak physical, mental, cultural, and spiritual performance and ideal place in nature. However, there are far too many obvious disadvantages for attempting to go back for it to be worth the massive costs unless unprecedented societal collapse occurs naturally, and even then it's highly unlikely that it would be anyone's aim.

Nah Jefferson's vision of a yeoman republic was just laughably naive.

Dems on this forum have removed any doubt that they are angry and jealous because they want to get away with the same thing Republicans can--not because they give a sh**t about America or democracy or anybody's rights.

This take desperately needs to be more popular.

MillennialMAModerate shouldn't change his display name to "MillennialMarkey" as many are suggesting, but to "MillennialMalarkey" - all his predictions are malarkey!
