Just a note to say our resident Illinois homers might have been overconfident about the Fighting Illini's chances this week and this season. Indiana leads 16-10 at the half.

In a wild one, App State scored with 31 seconds left to cut their deficit to 56-55 against North Carolina.  They went for 2 and had a receiver wide open in the end zone, but the QB overthrew him.

App State has scored ANOTHER TD with 9 seconds left and has a 2-pointer pending for the tie...currently 63-61.  App State has scored 40 points (so far) in the fourth quarter.

EDIT: the 2-point try failed as the QB was stopped at the 1.  UNC will win 63-61.
