Kansas seems to be in control of this, which means that the Final Four will either be:

-Four of the biggest blue-bloods of college basketball*
-Three of the biggest blue-bloods of college basketball and an unprecedented-level Cinderella team

*I know some will object to my including Villanova in that, but they're going for their third title in six tournaments.  The only team (other than Duke/KU/UNC, who are all going to be in New Orleans) that's more of a clear-cut blue-blood than Villanova is Kentucky.  UCLA and Indiana have all the tradition, but haven't done much of anything in the last 20-30 years.  Blue-blood status isn't permanent.

On the whole, that was a very unexciting Elite Eight.

The Final 4 is going to be worse. Unless you're a fan of one of the 4 teams, who cares?

It's gonna be down to Duke and JAYHAWKS that's why they are blowouts the bad teams are eliminated these are student athletes not professionals the Tournament does weed out good teams but when it gets to the best two teams it usually picks right an example was Butler v Duke, Butler lost to Duke when Butler beat a good Florida team and the next yr Butler lost to UCONN ..

Butler was a midMajor in waly 2010s that made it but never won the title this Tournament gas followed the Butler format

I have one final four team left, Kansas. Terrible year for me bracket wise.

I also have just Kansas left.

Out of curiosity what were your other teams? I had Houston, Kentucky and Gonzaga, with Houston beating the Zags in the final.

I had Arizona, Texas Tech, Iowa, and Kentucky (thought I had gone with UCLA in the East, but looking at the actual bracket I must have changed my mind), Arizona over Texas Tech in the final.  So two of my Final Four lost in the first round, the other two in the Sweet 16.

Xavier looking to finally have a retort to the south's cry of zero SEC championships. Chalk one SEC championship up to the Big East after running through the gauntlet of Florida, Vanderbilt and TAMU en route to the title!

Johnnies, who beat X twice down the stretch, looking like a major snub!

Butler fires Head Coach Lavall Jordan

My guesses as to the next Head Coach at Butler.

Ohio Head Coach Jeff Boals
Grand Canyon Head Coach Bryce Drew
Former Ohio State Head Coach Thad Matta
Akron Head Coach John Groce

What a fall in status for Butler. They were elite just a few years ago.

Somehow didn’t realize this thread existed.
Boring final four, was hoping for Miami or Saint Peters in it. Why did they collapse so hard?

Coach K had a great career, very few coaches other than John Wooden can do that.

Duke rebuilds.

Villanova's Collin Gillespie had a great career as well.
