The unit in Greece cannot cut support on an attack going into Greece.

A unit cannot cut support that is directed at that unit.

Thanks guys; wasn't aware of that.
To whom do I write to correct this silly rule? Wink

The status for builds is:

France Build 0
Russia Remove 1
Italy Build 0
Germany Build 2
Austria-Hungary Build 1
Turkey Build 0
England Build 2

Jas - I was going to find you the specific reference in the Rulebook for you, but I guess you don't need it. I'll find it if you still want it, though. Regarding your second query, complaints can be addressed to:

Avalon Hill c/o Hasbro Games,
Consumer Affairs Department,
PO Box 200,
Pawtucket, Rhode Island, 02862. Wink

Remove the Sevastapol Fleet please.

I'd initially posted to removed the Finland Army, but I changed my mind. That's OK, right?

France didn't submit any moves?  That's weird because Deadman just asked me a couple days ago if we were submitting moves this week (confused by skipping last week) and I told him we most certainly were.

Austria's take-over of Greece is strategically nifty -- I had to do a double-take to figure out how the heck that had happened.

I typically recommend submitting provisional moves at the beginning of a turn. They can always be resubmitted before the deadline, and they provide insurance in case the deadline is missed.

I also PM'd him when I saw him online not long before the deadline, when his were the only orders I had not yet received. He may not have seen my message, though.

No worries, I'll pop that in when I get home tonight.

What's funny is that him not moving might have helped him in the Mediterranean, since Italy was clearly hoping he'd attempt to block the suspected Pie->Mar move from Spain and slide around him with his fleet.

Not quite. That would have been a fairly unrealistic hope.

I'll be gone Wednesday to Monday with sporadic internet in the meantime. I'll give preliminary orders and I'm not involved in that much diplomacy this round (OR AM I???) so I'm fine with the game proceeding on schedule.

Smid, I believe my Munich army was going to Bur, not Ber, which should unfortunately help Russia out somewhat if he wants to see the Brandenburg Gates

Haha, well, hopefully I get a little respect for publishing the mistake even if your mistaken version of events would have let me save Berlin Smiley

That shouldn't affect the Russian retreat, I presume?

I think there is only one available retreat for the Russian unit.

Ukraine would also be an option?  As well as disbanding it, but that would be even sillier

I  just wanted to make sure that the retreats in Eastern Europe had the option to adjust to the radically different situation in Burgandy Smiley

It does affect something else, actually...
