The former Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska...

The current, first term governor of a state with 600-thousand residents...

The former Miss Alaska....

Versus...

A former editor of the Harvard Law Review...

A former, multi-term state senator in a populous state...

A former community organizer in America's third largest city...

A first term Senator with experience on the Foreign Relations and Armed Services committee...

Obama wins the experience battle, hands down.

Interestingly, her husband's a Yupik Eskimo.

Must be of mixed blood.  Not so many blue-eyed Yup'iks:

She's just as qualified as Obama is to be President.

And therein you have the McCain counter.

I hope they go further than that - Sarah Palin is more qualified than Barack Obama to be President.

She's not though. Not in any way.

Let's imagine what she'll look like in 2016:

Too bad that he's been saying that Obama isn't qualified for months...

Let's compare.  I'm saying that my VP has as much experience as your Prez candidate who wants to lead the free world for the next eight candidate.  I fail to see how this is a negative argument for McCain.

And now we're comparing degrees and education, lol.

I stand by my opinion - tactically it's a smart pick.  I just have to see her on television - that's the key as to whether it's a good pick or not.

The only intelligent argument to make is the one Salazar and the Democrats are making - it's a Hail Mary pass.

A VP is a heartbeat from the Presidency.

That's especially true in McCain's case.

I hate to break it to you, "community organizer" "state senator" "law review editor" "1/2 term senator" does not experience make.

ONE year as a GOVERNOR has more responsibility than all the above combined.

(Not to mention LOL! at including "community organizer" and "law review editor")

You have already been shown she is not.  Fine if you disagree but you might want to back up your assertion with more than just your opinion.

How is the ex-mayor of a town of 52-hundred people...a first term governor of one of the smallest states in the union...and a former Miss Alaska...

more experienced than...

...a former President of the Harvard Law Review...a multi-term state legislator in a populous state...a community organizer in America's third largest city...and a sitting senator serving on the Armed Forces and Foreign Relations committees...

Please explain.

(PS:  I am still not at ease with Obama's amount of experience.  I would have preferred him at the bottom of the ticket.)

Some would have greater doubts putting Obama in charge of the military.

As for Palin's experience (deficit), she does have to prove herself in a speech, or some extemporaneous TV interview not to be dismissed, as the Democrats are trying to do, as an utter moron.

By that logic the GOP ticket should be flipped. Tongue

Come on,the most she's done was probably organizing a football game between penguins and Eskimos...

To put it most charitably: Obama = Carter the Second.
