For the sake of fashion, none.

I vote for all except the swastika, confederate flag and x-ed out GLBT rainbow.

Still trying to claim that there's no real difference between the swastika and the hammer-and-sickle, eh?  Roll Eyes

It's up for the school to set it's own dress code.

All except for 3

BTW-Red do you know where they sell number 4?  I'd love to get one, but since 'nazism' is considered the greater evil by many entrepreneurs, I find it's very hard to find those shirts

All of them. Of course, private school should be able to set whatever dress code they want, and public schools shouldn't exist, and even when they exist it should be them to set their own dress code, but I'd support not restricting any of those things.

You think wearing a GLBT rainbow will endanger a student's safety more than wearing a swastika?

If any of these t-shirts happen to insight violence, then they should be banned. Otherwise allow them.

BTW, a hammer and sickle is not a symbol of hate like the swastika is, so please don't confuse the two. It's a symbol of communism. If we're going to disallow symbols of ideologies, we might as well tear down the statue of liberty.

I'd say my school is incredibly homophoic and there are really no openly gay kids if any at all.  There are a lot of openly anti-semetic kids.

You go to a pretty f**ked up school, then, if being gay is worse than being a Nazi.

Unless the hammer-and-sickle is worn by a schoolkid, of course, who wouldn't even know what it means except that it's "cool".

All but the Swastika.  I am neutral on the banning of the x-ed out religious symbols.

The Confederate flag is a pretty touchy one...a lot of people at my high school wore them, but I think we ought to ban them.
However, we'd then have to ban images of the state flag and that would be awkward.

Well, the same can be said of all the others. I favor allowing them all anyway.

Write in - gang attire (around here - jerseys for certain pro-sports teams).

Anything that promotes hate (Swasticas, anti-religious symbols, anti-gay slurs, etc).

Sounds like a typical American high school to me.

I voted to ban the symbols I disliked and allow the symbols I like.

I think they should be allowed to wear anything that won't blatently cause controversey.  I know a kid who has a backpack with a hammer and sickle (he didn't even notice it or know what it was til I pointed it out), did nothing.  The two things I mentioned would cause huge problems.

People wouldn't really care about the GBLT Rainbow but the Islamic Crescent would get you lynched anywhere outside of a couple towns in Michigan.
