If you support Russia's attack, I do not want to hear from you. Silence.

Is there a single person here who does support it though? Didn't get that impression tbh

They are watching and waiting to see how the world responds to Putin's aggression, as what happens in Ukraine will determine their course of action on Taiwan.  If we are tepid and timid in responding to Putin, it will encourage the Chinese Communists in their bid to take that island nation.

The only difference is that the US navy is active in the straights between China and Taiwan.

Call your representative and urge them to support sanctions on Russia and accept Ukrainian refugees.

I wouldn't be surprised if China and Russia have a secret "understanding", under which China will support whatever Russia does in Ukraine, while Russia will support a potential Chinese takeover of Taiwan.

Which the Chinese have been working to neutralize in the last twenty-five years or so since they last tried to force Taiwan to heel.

He was correct about the invasion beginning, so have to assume he knows what he is talking about here.  Scary stuff.  Didn't think they'd move on Kyiv so quickly.

Russians seem to be working like a well-oiled machine.

If they cut off Kyiv and the Command chain, that's an immediate, total capitulation.

Kander2020, BigSerg, compucomp and Vaccinated Russian Bear have been our pro-Putin contingent.

VRB seems like he may be having a bit of buyer's remorse as he's just been posting updates instead of crowing like you would expect.

Then we have a much larger coalition of "I'm not a Putin fan but..." folks.  Mostly the usual assortment of Chapo leftists and Tucker rightists.

And if Putin wants to go back to the Soviet Union days so badly, let's remind him what happened when they invaded Afghanistan in 1979. We shouldn't be putting boots on the ground, but do everything we can to make his life and the lives of his cronies as hard as possible.

And keep in mind it was the Russians who destroyed Afghanistan and they did far more evil things in Afghanistan than even the tailban did .

Amphibious invasion of Odessa is apparently expected. That is very near Romania, nowhere close to the Donbas. If there is an invasion there, it shows with 0 doubt that anything Putin might say about this being limited to the Donbas is a total lie.
