An intellectual giant who casts a long shadow over the shallow pool of dribble on some of the sub-forums here.

FF (Normal Response).

Haters be haters but part of the Atlas Club who have been around the blocks over the decades, Dule not only stands his own ground, but also overall a general supporter of Libertarian-Socialist concepts, including many of which I am a general sympathizer.

I voted FF in memory of old memes.

The first highlighted trait is considered a virtue here only if it's married to the second highlighted trait.  I wish to say that Dule was part of the solution to that problem, but he, sadly, is not.  His FF has, indeed, softened over time.

Are you saying that his opposition to Trump reduces his credibility?

Not my favourite poster but I still prefer his unique approach to the sea of generic D-CA/NYetc on there.

At times, he is my favorite person to argue with. Other times, he is unremarkably and predictably rebellious.

My main problem with it is that he’s very almost unable to change his mind, and he often reminds me of fundamentalists - a group I am very familiar with.

Based and yellowpilled. Almost my polar opposite across many, many issue areas, but with enough similarities (contempt for self-dealing and rent-seeking, complete lack of patience with Trump-era rightist boilerplate, dislike for oo-rah police/military authoritarianism, erudition in fields like social and political philosophy) to keep things interesting.
