Almost all of Cherokee just dumped. Pushed Warnock down to 65% on the needle, Ossoff at 57%.

Most of Cherokee County just dumped. Also doesn't look like enough for the Republicans. Not sure what's still out, but both Republicans are noticeably behind Trump/both Democrats noticeably ahead of Biden there now with 87% in.

Loeffler is doing worse because she's a woman (even if she's running against a black man), and Perdue is doing better because he is an actual incumbent + has real (non-meme) appeal in the right areas - though at this point, they are marginal. However, it all combined is enough to explain a 0.5-point to 1-point advantage.

You gotta hand it to Joe Manchin. He’s lasted far longer than thought possible in the reddest of red states. He did the right think to vote for impeachment, did his dream job, and now the most powerful man in the country. All while genuinely helping the people of his state

Something which must be kept in mind is that Biden's victory was not only due to his running up the numbers in Fulton, Clayton, DeKalb, Cobb, Gwinnett, etc. but also because he cut into the Republican margins in Fayette, Cherokee, and Forsyth. Perdue and Loeffler seem to be on track to do about the same, and perhaps even worse, than Trump in those counties, so this will be of little comfort to them.

I wouldn't even say it's bc she's a woman, moreso bc shes not a real incumbent, and is a *god awful terrible* candidate.

While I would have voted for Purdue myself, I have to say that IF Loeffler loses tonight, it will make for one happy PQG.  

Perdue is one of the absolute worst senators as well.  Doesn't believe in climate change,  wants to abolish the EPA, has literally never criticized Trump, etc.
