The question is whether the percentage breakdown is similar to Joe Biden in November and how many votes Democrats can net out.

Isn’t the bigger number the turnout percentage?

Which site will have the most up-to-date-numbers?

CNN exit poll claiming that college-educated whites have swung 10 points to Perdue from November. Not sure how useful/reliable that is, but something nonetheless.

My favourite is the New York Times, although it has a paywall.

Extrapolating from CNN exit poll, I have both Dems at 50.3%.

Sure, ignore turnout in Dem counties and only mention R counties. Sure!

Nothing can stop what is Cumming.

You know, because Forsyth County is trending sharply Democrat and we can't rely on outdated ideas of how certain areas will vote and how turnout in those areas will shape the outcome of the election. Get your mind out of the gutter Atlas!

I live in Cumming (actually in the non-urban part of the county, but I have a Cumming address).  Believe me, we've heard all the jokes.

I went on a volunteer trip with two very cool people from Forsyth County back in 2013. That's been a FF area in my book ever since.

But Ossoff increased his share among African American voters. But I would take exit polls with a huge grain of salt.

It's a safe bet that neither the November exit poll nor the current one is accurate. The AP/FOX exit poll is likely to be more accurate due to better methodology, but it also won't be entirely accurate for sub-groups.

For comparison:

November (Fox)
White College: Perdue +30
Non-White: Ossoff +70

Runoff (CNN)
White College: Perdue +24
Non-White: Ossoff +68

Anyone trying to call this based on exit polls is a moron. Those things aren't even reliable in presidential elections, let alone a Senate runoff in *January*

It's better now, but if you look at the history of the county... it's very rough.

Ossoff currently running ahead of Warnock by 2 votes, which I think validates my hot take from earlier. No more votes need be counted!

Whatever happens, I've kept my expectations so low for these races that I doubt I will be disappointed if Loeffler and Perdue win. Unless it's a blowout for them, that is, which it absolutely won't be. I also am taking solace in the fact that Democrats and activists contested the hell out of these races possibly as much as possible, so it's not like Democrats will have messed up as with other elections from 2020. If anything, it's the GOP who should be kicking themselves if they end up losing.

However, the revelation that SirWoodbury will take a leave of absence from the forum if Ossoff and Warnock win raises the stakes even more!

If accurate, expect Dems to overperform November in Atlanta and the Seacoast but underperform everywhere else.

The first votes are being reported - Ossoff and Warnock +48 each from Burke County. This is likely a majority black precinct so the numbers itself aren't too meaningful but it seems to indicate not a lot of ticket splitting.
