What do we think of Nevada? It appears to be the closest state at the moment and has a way to go in the count and has been trending towards Trump in the count.

NYT results showing Trump with 45% in Clark. No way that holds in light of the numbers we see from elsewhere, as west of Texas the Hispanic vote for Dems doesn't seem to be cratering like it did in Miami-Dade or the RGV.

Did Illinois shift right or is there just a lot of VBM out?

I don't know for sure, but there appear to be a bunch of outstanding votes that would appear to lean left.

Seriously, why is it taking so long to count the remaining votes?

I'm actually glad to hear Collins wins. We need more moderate members in the Senate from both parties.

Dude she voted like 95% with Trump. She's as much a moderate as I am. F*** her and f*** the Democrats for blowing the election this hard.
stop conflating moderation and partisanship.

Oh dear god am I really going to have to listen to Collins be very concerned for the next 6 years?
Well, she won't have to be concerned if Uncle Joe is the president.

That's far too early from Gideon and I hope there isn't reason to regret it in the near future.

I don't see the point of this from Gideon. She should at least wait to see if RCV is triggered.

The concession isn't binding. She still wins if the RCV somehow saves her.

Is anyone else taking about AZ other than Data Orbital? We can't afford to lose there.

I'm not really getting this either. Biden's got a 3.5 point lead with 86% in. I even thought Biden was winning AZ when I went to bed last night thinking he'd lose.

Who is ticket splitting for Collins still?Huh?

Places like Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont & Montana are notorious for their independent streaks.

Vermont gave Phil Scott a 2-1 majority last night. He did better than Biden, winning every county in the state. However, Montana voted Republican in every statewide race-Bullock, Williams, and Cooney all came close, but all lost, and Trump comfortably held the state.

Ok. I know Montana went GOP this election but look at past elections. This all doesn't boil down to one election. Smh. Too many of you are super reactionary and snippy about crap.

What? I'm very well aware of Montana's prior partisan history, and of course, Tester won comfortably in 2018. I was merely making an observation about this election. I don't understand why you had to take that kind of tone towards me.

Though, who are these Data Orbital exactly? FWIW, they a A/B with D+0.3 bias according to 538. No GOP affiliation at the first glance.
Arizona pollster.. based in Phoenix.

Are they independent? And why did they step up and talk about the remaining votes in AZ? It is not that pollsters usually do? I'm not saying they are wrong, though. AZ reporting has been a bit weird last 24 hours.

It might just be a rough calculation, but does anyone else think GA regular will go to runoff?

92 % of the votes are reported, the votes counted yet are 4'712'000, dividing this by 0,92 we'd have a vote total of 5'121'000.

50 % of that is 2'560'500. Perdue's current vote count is 2'387'800, so he would need 172'700 more votes. DeKalb reported 85 % so far and Perdue is at 57'000 votes (Ossoff: 278'000). Chatham reported 80 % with Perdue being at 45'000 (Ossoff: 58'000). Bibb County: 84 % reported, 27'000 for Perdue so far, 42'000 for Ossoff.

I just struggle to see where those 172'700 votes should come from?

Ah yes, so she only voted with Trump on his moderately far-right policies? And only voted for his moderately rapey judicial nominees?

Can someone point me to the MI-SEN result showing Peters ahead? I'm still seeing James ahead by like ~7k (with Antrim still to fix its' error).

Yeah sure, almost all posters had very bad results there. Doesn't mean you delist them for such a miss.

Look bud, it's not my fault that you can't understand why moderate Republicans can still behave as rapid partisans on at least some occasions, especially in this era of unusually high levels of tribalism.
