We had an issue with the printer on one of our machines too...I was stuck at the precinct for an extra hour because I had to sign *one* receipt that wouldn’t print.

America’s election infrastructure remains terrible.

Why are absentee ballots being the last to be counted despite being the first to be received?

It looks incredibly suspicious that votes are suddenly materializing but only once they already knew what Trumps lead was from the people who turned up in person to vote.
Republicans.

Does someone have any idea on what to expect from the outstanding votes in NC ? How many are there? Where do they come from? What are they (EV ? ED ? mix ?) ?

Well, for Michigan, it's because the GOP legislature wouldn't allow municipalities to begin processing absentee ballots until the day of the election, so blame them.

The republican legislatures in these states willfully choose to do it this way so people like you could be tricked into questioning the normal counting process.

Woke up an hour ago and still can’t get over Iowa... Still cautiously optimistic, but wow that hurt.

Stop. You'll have plenty of time to whine that the election was stolen, just like Trump will, in the forthcoming weeks.

Let me quickly quash this conspiracy theory: I was talking about E-Day votes, since I served as a poll commissioner today. And it was literally a printer issue that got resolved by fixing a loose wire. Trump won the precinct anyway!

Many of y'all appear to be forgetting the concept of the "Red Mirage".

PA, WI, and MI are the exact reverse of that, where once again DEM Cities in Swing States in the Midwest are the last to turn out the vote.

Keep Calm, don't panic, fundamental numbers look good in all three States (Plus we got AZ and NE-02 and possibly GA & NC as backups).

Work Swing Shift West Coast, so nowhere close to crash yet tonight.
Is NC not already gone?

Is it?

Says who?

Trump only up 77k by NYT numbers and plenty of votes outstanding (Most likely heavily DEM).

I'm worried about this too. Is it true that it's just Clark County mail-in ballots yet to be counted? I would think that'd break towards Biden.

I was a bit uneasy about Fox's projection of Arizona but after they defended it and the AP projected it, I'm confident that they're certain Biden won there.

Fox News' Decision Desk tends to be highly professional, by all accounts.

Ralston says it is. We’re fine.

Ralston just said that mail votes in Clark haven't been counted yet.  Not sure if that means all mail or just mail dropped off today though.

No. That recent clark drop was election day votes. It has a pretty sizable republican advantage. I don't think theres enough left for Trump to overtake Biden. Also:

Not sure what Ralston means by this. Did Clark not count any mail ballots, or are the more mail ballots to count. Either way, mail ballots are usually democrat leaning.

Still hoping Biden pulls this out, by losing FL+OH.

If Trump also ends up with 240-269 EV, I'd have won 2 high-risk bets on William Hill and cash in almost 1000€s ... (1200$).

Mainly because republicans in state houses and senates refuses to let polling places start the processing of mail ballots to start before election day itself.
