Every single post in here on the last 3 pages suggests this is going to be a Biden landslide.  Still we are all pooping our pants because of 2016 and the fact that there is a conceivable path for Trump.  But no-one should be surprised if Biden wins the popular vote by the biggest vote margin ever.

I think I may have said this before, but the fact that so many Democrats are pooping their pants and petrified of another 2016 is exactly why the landslide is going to happen. That was just an unbelievable motivator.

Yeah, everything just keeps compounding and snowballing.  Overconfident Trump people.  Worried democrats.  Democrats early voting because they're paranoid about voter suppression.

Hot take: this election is going to be a mandate of epic proportions and a massive realignment of modern American politics.  The GOP is going to have to rebrand in a major way in 10 days.

"Ever" is a bit of an exaggeration, but he may win by double-digits with the biggest margin in decades.

Could be the biggest ever raw vote margin.

I edited - I meant raw vote margin. Obviously Biden will win the most votes for President ever. It’s also possible Biden ends up with a lead of more than 18m votes (that would beat 1972), but I wouldn’t say it’s certain.

Definitely not a certainty.

Reagan beat Mondale by almost 17 million votes.

Assuming 155mil turnout, Biden would have to win by 11% to surpass that.
With 150mil, it's 11.3%
With 160mil, its 10.6%

Well, I meant "a certainty" in response to before 413 edited their post to emphasize the margin rather than the total. it is doubtful that Biden exceeds Nixon or Reagan's margin.

True, good point.  Reduces complacency for sure.

It was and still is emphasizing the raw vote margin.

Which is not a certainty (18 million would be an 11% margin with 165 million votes or 12% with 150 million). Percent margin is an impossibility.

It depends on the Dem Election Day turnout, which may be lower this time.

75.8 Million votes. Any idea why it's been a light day? Should be close to 80 Million by now.

Travis and Harris are still open for another 30 mins, but I have good news from South Texas! 3.2k votes in Webb County today which is a huge spike since the past week, putting them at 45k (only 4K short of the total 2018 vote!). Hidalgo County posts well over 7k today, putting them at 163,399 total! There is an outside shot of them hitting 2016’s record 174k tomorrow, but even if they don’t, they will easily surpass it on Friday!

Dems are doing what they need to in their base counties.

Nice! I was curious why Harris & Travis haven't posted todays updates yet.

Williamson County had 9,687 in-person votes today, an increase from yesterday & Monday. They're on the verge of eclipsing 2018's 62.4% total turnout percentage and, if current trends continue, matching 2016's turnout percentage by Friday night

Biden could have a 20k lead with the only county left to report being Travis County and the networks still wouldn’t call it until “every vote is in to be sure”

Excited to report that Wife and I voted today right before the polls closed in GA! Local media is reporting lines are getting longer all over metro ATL as the early voting window closes, so turnout here is probably only going to accelerate over the next few days.
