Would it be easier to just archive the existing Regional Board, and just have the new boards for new threads for each region, so that no old threads will need to be allocated?

I doubt that anyone wants to waste their time moving each thread, so I'd say so.

I disagree. I think it would be more convenient for all threads of post-reset regions to be included their respective regional board for sake of easier access when needing to research the current laws. But this wouldn't be that big of a deal since we have the wiki for that purpose, so I don't have strong feelings regarding that.

I mean, if you want to try convincing Yankee, Lumine, or Virginia to move each thread in the regional board going back to 2016, be my guest. Tongue

I actually raised this concern before when this was discussed in the modcave and apparently there is a way to filter the threads in the code using a key word. I am not an expert on this matter, but perhaps if someone who is not presently in the current moments boycotting discord for reasons personal health and sanity, might want to try DMing her for clarification, as my PM yielded no response.

I mean, I obviously cannot try a test run since I am not a moderator, but my big fear is that such a filter is never going to be precise enough. Filtering pre-reset from post-reset is easy because it is just a fixed date; but the 3 regions all have used different numbering and schemes for their bills. Plus, using a filter for say, "S" for South will turn out so many false positives that it'd be useless.

And like Scott said, if you and Lumine want to manually move tens of pages worth of threads, be my guest Tongue

Keep talking at an interval of less than 24 hours, and object to final vote requests.

If the person who motions for the final vote, motions for cloture though, unless you have 3 votes then that's kind of it.
