His opinion doesn't reflect those of all of us Biden supporters. In the end, we're all dedicated to defeating Donald Trump, and if Bernie was nominated most of us (including me) would back him unequivocally. Hopefully, y'all will do the same. Unlike the Trumpist GOP, we have room for ideological differentiation.

Biden supporters cannot claim that a small minority of Sanders supporters represent his entire wing of the party and claim that a minority of Biden supporters don't represent his wing of the party.
*shrugs* Not our fault that toxic Bernie supporters scream 10-100x louder than toxic Biden supporters

It's rare to see one embrace rank hypocrisy so openly.

Hey Atlas progressives, as an uncompromising neoliberal and establishment shill, do not lose all hope. Tonight has shown that America has overwhelmingly rejected Bernie Sanders as a human nobody likes, and that Ameroca is not willing to accept uncompromising, divisive, socialist radicals woth a savior mentality. Next time instead of going for a purist star, go for a progressive (not socialist) workhorse with strong policy as well as strong rhetoric. There are plenty of choices. But you will lose if you go as left as Sanders (focus on builind a winning coalition around a few key issues) and embrace the unifying Buttigeig approach to politics instead of the losing Sanders strategy. Best wishes, even though I hope you keep losing.

You're just proving my point. In your ideal Democratic Party, there are no progressives.

Watch Biden's speech that he just gave. He's a progressive bona fide. And has been for 40 years. He's just not a revolutionary.

has anyone analyzed turnout?  seems massive.  Virginia which is fully in looks close to 1.4 million.  That has to be a record.

An 11% increase from 2008, which was the previous record.

It痴 all about the suburbs.

So I知 going to admit as a Bernie supporter that tonight is sobering; all I知 going to say is that while I accept Biden is looking inevitable, he ignores the millions of progressives who voted for Sanders & Warren (as Hillary did) at his own peril. If he treats us like Hillary did, he deserves to lose. Biden must choose a strong progressive VP.
Baldwin would be a nice pick, no?

Baldwin is great, but we need the Senate and I don't know if Democrats could hold her seat.

Wow, I'm quite shocked at the results in my state. I hadn't seen any Biden support (in fact it seemed like there was more Warren and Buttigieg support). My county seems to have flipped firmly for Bernie but all I can say is wow!

They were saying on CNN that Amy Klobuchar's GOTV effort literally turned on a dime yesterday and began pushing forcefully for their voters to support Biden.  Quite impressive what they've done.

Yeah, I actually liked the message Biden delivered tonight a lot and feel pretty okay about voting for him in the general now, although obviously I'm a good bit more pointedly leftist than he is. I'm just not sure he'll be an effective messenger for the next eight months, mostly because he wasn't an effective messenger until the last two weeks.

what are the chances that Warren and Bloomberg drop out in the coming days?

The interesting thing is that we kept hearing about a contested convention, but right now the delegates are being pretty much split between two people because nobody's really making the 15% threshold anywhere.  Though I expect that to change in California.

Warren should have dropped out after NH, but her staying in just shows how horrific her political insticts are.

I doubt Bloomberg is going to keep spending barrels of money, he'll get out now that Bernie is on the ropes.

Warren is smart to stay in.  She has the money to keep her campaign afloat for a while yet and there's still a real possibility of a contested convention where she may be able to extract some policy/personnel concessions from the eventual nominee.  What's the harm in staying in?

Theory: Sanders only won Minnesota and Maine in 2016 because they were caucuses.

VIOLENT SANDERS SUPPORTERS, GO FIGURE!

If you're talking about the folks who interrupted his speech, I think there's some sort of animal rights luniz. They may or may not support Sanders, if anything I would guess they're green voters, but they weren't doing this on behalf of Sanders.

They are vegan activists with anti-dairy signs.  They have plenty of reason to not support the Senator from Vermont who is on record as a lover of cheese and has an ice cream flavor named after him.

Bernie is at risk of not hitting the 15% threshold in Alabama.  He's at 16.1% right now but it seems to be dropping.
