Hey Atlas progressives, as an uncompromising neoliberal and establishment shill, do not lose all hope. Tonight has shown that America has overwhelmingly rejected Bernie Sanders as a human nobody likes, and that Ameroca is not willing to accept uncompromising, divisive, socialist radicals woth a savior mentality. Next time instead of going for a purist star, go for a progressive (not socialist) workhorse with strong policy as well as strong rhetoric. There are plenty of choices. But you will lose if you go as left as Sanders (focus on builind a winning coalition around a few key issues) and embrace the unifying Buttigeig approach to politics instead of the losing Sanders strategy. Best wishes, even though I hope you keep losing.

Wow so mature dude. This is completely unnecessary and counterproductive. Do you even realize how big of a hypocrite you are being right now? Calling Sanders divisive then acting accordingly... what a joke. Biden supporters don’t want you in our corner

what are the chances that Warren and Bloomberg drop out in the coming days?

The interesting thing is that we kept hearing about a contested convention, but right now the delegates are being pretty much split between two people because nobody's really making the 15% threshold anywhere.  Though I expect that to change in California.

one reason Biden might be doing better than Hillary is because the Democratic Party has literally expanded under Trump.  A lot of ex Republicans/moderates are now voting Democrat.

Mama if one checks closely, Joe Biden is not Hillary Clinton. Hillary was fundamentally distrusted and even disliked by a majority of Americans. Biden just simply does not have remotely the same level of dislike outside of die-hard Republicans and conservatives

You really know how to bring progressives to your side. Congrats.

They don't care, they'll just whine about Sanders supporters not falling in line when Trump gets reelected by an even bigger margin.

This thread is a total clown show at the moment. You don't have to throw up the towel and give in when this is the first multistate contest. You don't get to act like you're god because you support Biden. This is shaping up to be a fairly typical two way primary season, and saying anything more is overblowing it substantially.

This is a stunning, multi-regional rout, far exceeding what even the most hackish Biden partisan dared hope.

There is no coming back from the loss that is shaping up tonight. Sanders can and will continue fighting on, but that will win him nothing but an embittered 25-35% in all but a handful of remaining states.

Biden's campaign could stuff their candidate in a freezer and win virtually everything. It's over.

It's really amazing to me how little effort Biden's team has had to put into this cycle. His entire campaign is based in nostalgia and sheer electoral inertia.
This is what worries me. Wasn't Gore in 2000 similar in this regard?

Dave Wasserman on twitter is suggesting that the NYT results are bugged and Biden has more upside than previously suggested.

So, the last three pages have been an argument about whether or not Biden supporters are arrogantly gloating over progressives and you think this drivel is a good response?

It won’t matter when it’s in the inevitable GOP attack ad about Biden’s “mental decline” come November

Wow, I'm quite shocked at the results in my state. I hadn't seen any Biden support (in fact it seemed like there was more Warren and Buttigieg support). My county seems to have flipped firmly for Bernie but all I can say is wow!

Something that shouldn't be overlooked is the absolutely massive voter turnout tonight, nearly doubling 2016 super Tuesday numbers in almost every state. Dems are energized.

has anyone analyzed turnout?  seems massive.  Virginia which is fully in looks close to 1.4 million.  That has to be a record.

His opinion doesn't reflect those of all of us Biden supporters. In the end, we're all dedicated to defeating Donald Trump, and if Bernie was nominated most of us (including me) would back him unequivocally. Hopefully, y'all will do the same. Unlike the Trumpist GOP, we have room for ideological differentiation.

I'm staunchly anti-Biden but I hardly think Grassroots should even be validated by being counted as a Biden supporter in how he acts given he's a Trumpist and admitted nationalist.

Hey, the Democrats put country (nationalism) over marxism (internationalism) tonight. Plenty of Democrats believe its smart to prioritize our country first.

...okay, maybe you really are that much of a brain-dead hack.

So I’m going to admit as a Bernie supporter that tonight is sobering; all I’m going to say is that while I accept Biden is looking inevitable, he ignores the millions of progressives who voted for Sanders & Warren (as Hillary did) at his own peril. If he treats us like Hillary did, he deserves to lose. Biden must choose a strong progressive VP.

Yeah. Look at ridiculous posts like this Biden supporter's after Biden loses by larger margins than HRC and wonder why. Ridiculous. I'll vote for Biden in the general but people like this make me so discouraged to want to help his campaign in any way at all.

Every losing Democratic campaign of the past 30 years was similar in this regard. Hoping this will be the exception to the rule, but I'm not optimistic.

Two surprising results out of CO:

- Sanders won El Paso County (Colorado Springs). This is prime Biden territory - potentially home to a lot of upscale whites who are potentially disaffected with the GOP. Then again this is also a heavily evangelical area... but that also doesn't explain why Sanders would be so strong here

- Bloomberg (!!!) leading Sanders with 89% of votes in Pueblo. Pueblo is the most industrial area of the state and was one of the largest Obama-Trump counties in the Rockies. This has to be inflated by early voting but still fascinating!

Maybe this is less surprising but Bloomberg routed in Pitkin County (Aspen). Sanders is second. Very funny!

Warren should have dropped out after NH, but her staying in just shows how horrific her political insticts are.

I doubt Bloomberg is going to keep spending barrels of money, he'll get out now that Bernie is on the ropes.

Agreed.  It's also in the exact places Dems need it (suburbs and minority areas).  This really portends poorly for Republicans in the fall.
