Why did Joe Biden go to Los Angeles for his victory party?   Seems like he'd want to be in a state he would win.

He was in California strategically trying to get delegates in city precincts with high black populations to cut into Bernie's delegate haul in California.

This race is over. Bernie can’t crack more than 35% in any state. His base is smaller than it was 4 years ago. Americans don’t want his revolution. Once Bloomberg drops out, it’ll become even more difficult for Sanders. Biden is winning in states where he had no operation at all.

His opinion doesn't reflect those of all of us Biden supporters. In the end, we're all dedicated to defeating Donald Trump, and if Bernie was nominated most of us (including me) would back him unequivocally. Hopefully, y'all will do the same. Unlike the Trumpist GOP, we have room for ideological differentiation.

Biden supporters cannot claim that a small minority of Sanders supporters represent his entire wing of the party and claim that a minority of Biden supporters don't represent his wing of the party.

Jesus, Biden has apparently won Hennepin county, MN, albeit narrowly. I definitely, definitely didn't expect that......

Hey Atlas progressives, as an uncompromising neoliberal and establishment shill, do not lose all hope. Tonight has shown that America has overwhelmingly rejected Bernie Sanders as a human nobody likes, and that Ameroca is not willing to accept uncompromising, divisive, socialist radicals woth a savior mentality. Next time instead of going for a purist star, go for a progressive (not socialist) workhorse with strong policy as well as strong rhetoric. There are plenty of choices. But you will lose if you go as left as Sanders (focus on builind a winning coalition around a few key issues) and embrace the unifying Buttigeig approach to politics instead of the losing Sanders strategy. Best wishes, even though I hope you keep losing.

I was ready compromise and get behind Biden, but seeing all this "haha suck it Bernie Bros you're all losers" is convincing me more and more that there is no room for progressives in the Democratic Party.

There literally hasn’t been that much of that at all? And anyone who IS doing that is an idiot. I’m a Biden supporter who supported Bernie in 2016. I was crushed when he lost. I enthusiastically supported Hillary and my views have changed a bit, but I would never make fun of someone who’s candidate isn’t doing well. People poured their hearts into Bernie and I know how that feels. It sucks

VIOLENT SANDERS SUPPORTERS, GO FIGURE!

You were saying, Illini Moderate?

That’s two people out of hundreds of post. Nevertheless it’s completely unnecessary and wrong

Lol at TYT lamenting history for reminding voters that marxism is bad.

Bernie would have won if it weren't for the corrupt elitist CPSU crashing the Soviet economy to make Americans scared of socialism.

If you're talking about the folks who interrupted his speech, I think there's some sort of animal rights luniz. They may or may not support Sanders, if anything I would guess they're green voters, but they weren't doing this on behalf of Sanders.

This thread is a total clown show at the moment. You don't have to throw up the towel and give in when this is the first multistate contest. You don't get to act like you're god because you support Biden. This is shaping up to be a fairly typical two way primary season, and saying anything more is overblowing it substantially.

This is a stunning, multi-regional rout, far exceeding what even the most hackish Biden partisan dared hope.

There is no coming back from the loss that is shaping up tonight. Sanders can and will continue fighting on, but that will win him nothing but an embittered 25-35% in all but a handful of remaining states.

Biden's campaign could stuff their candidate in a freezer and win virtually everything. It's over.

It's really amazing to me how little effort Biden's team has had to put into this cycle. His entire campaign is based in nostalgia and sheer electoral inertia.

I'm staunchly anti-Biden but I hardly think Grassroots should even be validated by being counted as a Biden supporter in how he acts given he's a Trumpist and admitted nationalist.

Hey, the Democrats put country (nationalism) over marxism (internationalism) tonight. Plenty of Democrats believe its smart to prioritize our country first.
