No, it’s the other way around:

Klob was first to attack him on the debate stage a few months ago ...

That is completely untrue. He has been attacking everybody in Washington since the beginning of his campaign. Klobuchar was playing nice and trying not to attack others. Buttigieg decided to play dirty politics and he's paying the consequences now.

I think that his inability to appeal to an electorate beyond woke Karens and dudes in wine caves is probably the main reason for his demise. But everyone said that after NH Buttigieg had no path forward, because obviously he does not. Now we are seeing that more clearly. But I'm not sure piling on Karen Amy Klobuchar is going to help much since that, the daytime talk shows Karens watch, qnd Tom Edsall may be all he has left. Attacking the competence of the youngest woman running seems unproductive.

People talk about suburban voters in Maricopa, but goddamn Bernie might just turbocharge nonvoting Hispanics, if going by these results, in a GE.

Hillary crushed him with Hispanics in 2016 and that didnt translate much to the GE.

Bernie isn't Hillary.

If he wins the nomination then by November he's probably not going to be in that much better of a position when you factor in attack ads. Sanders has not faced a real barrage of attacks and that will be a huge factor that needs to be considered.

All my younger cousins support Bernie. And many older Latinos have never voted, they tend to vote how their children vote because they trust and love them. Bernie also has been mobilizing young organizers for more than 4 years now.

 Healthcare and Education are top policy factors.

This is an idle thought that’s still forming, but I wonder if Sanders’s likely win and his campaign’s focus on Latino voters in the state will change the way that Democratic campaigns approach going after the Latino community in the future. It’s been historically more difficult to court that community because the parties haven’t put a lot of energy into bilingual campaign efforts. But this election feels different on that front.
