Why are Latinos so pro-Bernie? Does anyone have a serious answer besides tHeY aRe DiSpRoPoRtIoNaTeLy YoUnG? That's not enough to explain these numbers. This is like Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton with the Black vote.

People talk about suburban voters in Maricopa, but goddamn Bernie might just turbocharge nonvoting Hispanics, if going by these results, in a GE.

Hillary crushed him with Hispanics in 2016 and that didnt translate much to the GE.
Bernie isn't Hillary.

If he wins the nomination then by November he's probably not going to be in that much better of a position when you factor in attack ads. Sanders has not faced a real barrage of attacks and that will be a huge factor that needs to be considered.

That just about sums up everything you need to know about Buttigieg and Steyer supporters.

Because Hispanics tend to like his Economic policies and his plan to stop deportations.

Buttigieg getting so personal with Klobuchar is really hurting him. He has alienating Klobuchar supporters, who are now refusing to help him get viable.

No, it’s the other way around:

Klob was first to attack him on the debate stage a few months ago ...

You don’t even live in this country and you act like Pete Buttigieg

You talk down to atlas members and think you’re right and everyone else who doesn’t agree with you is wrong.

Pete must end his campaign. He has no viable state to win on Super Tuesday. Amy will carry Minnesota. Warren Massachusetts. Pete has nothing.

I noted the possibility of Bernie way overdoing his Hispanic numbers in the first two but I didn't expect this...

From NYT:

Quote
Reid Epstein, in Henderson, Nev. Just now

Final delegate count from Clark County Precinct 1391: Sanders 7, Biden 5, Warren 4. When Klobuchar wasn’t viable, all her supporters went to Warren.

And they preferred Clinton's in '16?

All my younger cousins support Bernie. And many older Latinos have never voted, they tend to vote how their children vote because they trust and love them. Bernie also has been mobilizing young organizers for more than 4 years now.

Healthcare and Education are top policy factors.

The only way Bernie's Hispanic support will hurt him in the genersl is if insufferably conscientous white people keep refering to Sanders voters as "Latinx."

This is an idle thought that’s still forming, but I wonder if Sanders’s likely win and his campaign’s focus on Latino voters in the state will change the way that Democratic campaigns approach going after the Latino community in the future. It’s been historically more difficult to court that community because the parties haven’t put a lot of energy into bilingual campaign efforts. But this election feels different on that front.

SARAH FROSTENSON 4:33 PM

Especially given his strategy in California, Clare. Sanders has really doubled down on Latino outreach efforts in that state, and that could prove decisive on Super Tuesday.

So if Bernie's numbers hold up with Latinos, does this say anything about how he may fare in Arizona's primaries? I don't believe we've seen very much polling done there.

Give me a single reason warren should stay in race

She's doing better than a lot of other candidates who are still in the race.

She's invested a lot in Super Tuesday states and many of us want to vote for her.

Difficult to think of one. She'll probably lose Massachusetts if she stays in for Super Tuesday, which would be humiliating.

Okay, I have the answer to the discrepancy between first and final round votes.

Same thing happened in IA for what it's worth.

Twitter is just an endless stream of Bernie winning different precincts, so I am going to stop posting them, there are just too many, I can't keep up.
