Second round Port Charlotte results:

56 Klobuchar
43 Buttigieg
33 Biden

Biden picked up zero votes
THis is horrible for Biden, but can one extrapolate much from this?

This is going to be reported and will definitely have an impact on the caucuses later today.

One thing I find interesting: Bernie is picking up virtually no support from Warren or Yang. Warren's supporters seems to prefer Klobuchar and Buttigieg. Yang voters are preferring Warren.

Small sample, obviously.

FYI, there are three more Florida caucuses tonight in St. Petersburg, Gulf Breeze, and Miramar Beach. Plus 4 from Arizona (Green Valley, Queen Creek, 2 in Tucson) and 2 in California (Stanford and Palm Springs).

42% of Yang supporters said they wouldn't vote for a Democrat if Yang doesn't win.

The Boomers are taking their first alignment in Port Charlotte now.

Brace for Klobmentum with all those Klobuchar stickers in the picture from FL.

Klobuchar takes 48/134 first round votes in PC.

KLOBMENTUM

I hope so. Amy Klobuchar is the only candidate that could get me away from voting Trump.

And would help 3 Progressives to stay home. If you don't think Biden or Buttigieg are better than Trump you're a lost cause anyway.

I wonder if Amy Klobuchar doing so well in Florida among Iowans means that she's bound to do well in Florida among Flordinians.
florida’s democratic electorate isn’t comprised of wealthy white retirees

Progressives are likely to vote for any Democrat, but hey, I'm happy if they stay home. Just tell us swing voters that we're in the basket of deplorables and get on with it so Wisconsin can go for Trump again.

Well being somebody with chinese-vietnamese ancestry I can say for a fact that 35-50% of Yang supporters aren't even supporting Yang for UBI but because he's Asian and their asian. Also consider that 'some' of his support are ex trump supporters who became dissatisfied over his policies and support Yang for UBI but don't consider themselves democrats and would just stay home and some would vote for Trump.

These early caucuses are going to end up influencing the ones in Iowa later tonight through news coverage that people in Iowa will see before they go to caucus themselves. If so, it could end up being a Bernie-Klobuchar race rather than the expected Bernie-Biden one.

CNN just showed off the St. Petersburg FL caucus'ers on TV. Similar age group as the Port Charlotte group but I think I saw someone under 50. The two people they interviewed were for Amy/Warren Tongue

These Arizona and Florida caucuses seem to be mostly retirees, expect a skew towards moderates. Still some Bernie people in Queen Creek however.

CNN is now showing the Queen Creek (Phoenix Area) Arizona one. They are interviewing a couple which is 1 Klobuchar supporter, 1 Bernie supporter.

Two women. They drove 4 hours so that shows loyalty.

There was a couple in the Arizona satellite caucus and the woman wanted Amy and the man wanted Bernie. It seems women are really voting for the women so far.

I'm just gonna say, Klobuchar made a good choice going with green(inspired by Paul Wellstone). Its pretty easy to spot her shirts and stickers in crowds.

Port Charlotte Satellite Caucus First Alignment results

Klobuchar 48
Buttigieg 38
Biden 33
Warren 12
Steyer 2
Sanders 1
Yang 1

Was this caucus literally held in a nursing home or something?

It sure looked like it.

I think it was a Unitarian Universalist church.

Is it just me or was it a terrible idea for Democrats to decide to have a caucus in St. Petersburg after all the Russian interference stuff? Terrible imagery.
