I literally forgot that was a thing. Are people actually going to be following that?

Yes, I will definitely post Republican results if no one else does.  Happy to do it in either this thread or another thread.

Anyone have the exam schedules for Iowa State and U of Iowa?  I need to know which professors are rigging it against Sanders by scheduling exams Tuesday morning.  They are supposed to get their checks from the DNC but I lost the list.

Dear God,

Please let me fall asleep instead of restlessly tossing and turning all night long on the eve of the Iowa Caucus.

It. Is. 3:16.AM. Have. Mercy.

It depends on how fast each site can do the caucus.  I think some sites can get it done in less than 40 minutes, so 9 at the latest.

So I went ahead and put together my series of maps from caucus night in 2016, showing which counties had fully reported at specific times. In reality, given there are 10-30 minute gaps between any 2 reports, this provides a relatively narrow range of time as to when we might expect each county to fully report. Different factors, complications and/or the lack thereof can (and will) likely dramatically change when each county reports relative to 2016, however - still worth using a broad-based resource.

The first counties to fully report began coming in around 60-75 minutes (~8:15 PM CT) after caucusing began.

Roughly 90% of votes/sites had reported within 3.5 hours (by 10:30 PM CT).

Fun fact: the last precinct statewide (in Des Moines) didn't close until 2:30 AM CT in 2016.

Do we know if the early satellite locations will report their results when they are done or will they wait until the traditional caucuses start in order to prevent influencing the outcome?

CNN will start Special Iowa Caucus Coverage at 4pm ET
FOX NEWS will start at 6pm ET as well as MSNBC

NBC News will have a Live Stream starting at 8pm ET for those who can't watch on TV.

Read this morning somewhere that the alleged DMR poll had Biden in 4th Place. Does anyone have the numbers for people placed 1-3 on the alleged leak?

Yep, the leak had these numbers:
Sanders 22% (+2)
Warren 18% (+1)
Buttigieg 15% (=)
Biden 13% (-2)

though remember:
1. We dont have absolute confirmation that the leak is real
2. The methodology problem

I'd call it trash as there is no way that Warren's second.

If you people want, I could maybe post the caucus results live here as I listen to the headcounts while I observe my precinct in real time. Granted, my main commentary will be on the Lokcord, but I still might post on the forum if I feel like it.

How absolutely glorious it would be for Biden to come in fourth.
