Port Charlotte Satellite Caucus First Alignment results

Klobuchar 48
Buttigieg 38
Biden 33
Warren 12
Steyer 2
Sanders 1
Yang 1

Based on this result, Klobuchar is obviously doing very well with snowbird retirees.

Klochubar, Biden, Buttigieg viable in FL, Sanders not (first round)

Not in that order. It's Klochubar, Buttigieg, Biden.

Based on this result, Klobachar is obviously doing very well with snowbird retirees.

Klobuchar also did relatively well (for the moderates, anyway) in the other caucuses.

It seems like Klobuchar and Buttigieg and to some extent Warren are getting most of the support of olds across caucus sites, and Sanders is getting most all of the other support.

Port Charlotte Satellite Caucus First Alignment results

Klobuchar 48
Buttigieg 38
Biden 33
Warren 12
Steyer 2
Sanders 1
Yang 1
In this case, as a Sanders supporter I would caucus for Klobuchar.

How the hell does 8/6/3 translate into 1 delegate each?  What kind of quota or allocation method is this?

If satellite Democrats tend to lean progressive, and Klobuchar is doing this well...isn't that a great sign for her?

Updated first round results:

54 Klobuchar (25%)
50 Buttigieg (23%)
42 Sanders (19%)
37 Biden (17%)
30 Warren (14%)
  4 Yang (2%)
  2 Steyer (1%)

How does this end up getting weighted in terms of delegates though? What happened so far is Klobuchar won that nursing home caucus, Warren won the wine-track one in Paris, and Bernie won all the other ones. Do they all count for similar #s of delegates, or does the Florida nursing home one count for more since it had more people?

NOTE: she posted an update tweet to the above; it's actually 2 delegates for Warren, 1 for each Sanders and Klobuchar.

Did you even see those videos? Port Charlotte boomers aren't progressive, their centrists.

One factor that I think explains why Biden isn't doing well in these is the average satellite caucus goer is more politically engaged even the average caucus goer.

These results so far are all kinda weird, don't put stock in them.

Horrible numbers for Biden, but do they mean anything? IDK TBH. I guess caucusing older folks are more likely to be klob/butti types

Port Charles was ranked by CNN as the #1 best place in the US to retire.

I'm going to need a beer for anybody who puts Klobuchar and progressive in the same sentence that implies she's anything BUT.

Jesus. I know it's a bad idea to put stock in satellite caucuses, but if Biden can't even win moderate voters of his own generation in Florida, that's disgraceful.

I wonder if Amy Klobuchar doing so well in Florida among Iowans means that she's bound to do well in Florida among Flordinians.

“Wine track one in Paris”

I love the spin. Sounds like a fun time tbh.
