- 95% chance it'll be Harris
- Harris defenders are gonna be ecstatic, even though it seemed pretty obvious for months
- Harris detractors are gonna be upset even though it seemed pretty obvious for months
- Harris defenders are gonna be upset by the people upset and find criticism of her unfair, as usual
- Rice will get more universal & vitrolic hatred, as usual
- The previous 3 things were gonna happen anyway and defenders will still act appalled & upset
- Biden should announce some of his cabinet of he wants to ease potential divisions from the pick

I think it will be Kamala, but I'd be fine with Rice and Whitmer as well. Rice's so-called baggage is overblown; she's a talented political operator and has a good relationship with him. She'd be a loyal number two who can help govern.

Rice as VP won't change 1 vote. It also sends the naive feeling that Biden thinks he is inevitable
 and is focusing on his presidency before the election even happens.
