Gallup:

42 (-)
53 (+1)

Essentially noise

It is actually 42-52, so his disapproval went down a point (noise)

I was expecting a 3-4 point negative swing because of rudy bombshell

who, after all the other surreal things that has happened so far, would change their opinion based off Rudy's comments?

Interesting. For months now on Gallup Trump's approvals have been in the mid to upper 30s, while his personal favorables have stayed in the low 40s. Now his approvals are in the low 40s, while his favorables have dropped into the upper 30s.

Looks like the Korea bump is sticking...after I had been lectured by the mob here that people will forget about it.

It also depends on whether you find Rudy’s comments to be a bombshell or not, I suppose.

I’m not going to read much into that.

I would say the GOP is still more the party of George W Bush than Trump (which is a good thing).

How is that a good thing for the GOP. Need I remind you how unpopular Bush was when he left office and how his presidency led to rank and file Republicans to distrust their party leaders. Which led to the tea party and ultimately Trump.

Just Limo coming in to fascinate us with an arbitrary period of time for polling like always.

CNN:

41 (-)
53 (-)

Unchanged since late March, though there have been slight bumps in issue polling. Also of interest: more Republicans believe Stormy Daniels now than in March.

Anyways, all the details in the link.

It’s interesting that all it took was a slight Econ recovery for Americans to totally change minds on Reagan

I dislike the fact that RCP ignores poll top lines.

Trump is more unpopular than his predecessors at this point but "narratives have been wrecked?" GTFO you are just as bad as King Lear was with cherry picking data while accusing everyone else of spinning

Y'all should just put hofool on ignore or something. Don't feel bad for him - he's used to it from girls in real life anyways.

46% of the population voted for him, and if most of those people haven't changed their minds, he would have 45% approval.  There doesn't seem to be much middle ground with him, you either like him or you don't...

I think if you look at the intensity of the people that don't like him you see they are not ever going to budge.  Nothing he does will ever make him viable or acceptable to about 40% of the people in this country.  That's not a good thing.  It's a hard opposition he has, not a soft one.

In a polarized country, in a midterm election, one thing you know is that if you really don't like this guy, then you're waiting with bated breath for November 6.

I can barely wait to vote - and there aren't any competitive elections in my districts.  I could show up or not show up and it wouldn't matter.  But I'll march to the polling booth - because I am energized to vote.

POLITICO reports that Trump's rise in recent days has not just come from North Korea but also because of Kanye West's comments in favour of Trump and questioning the "slavish mindset" of Blacks ...

Support for Trump among Black men doubled after Kanye's comments and among Blacks in total it's also up significantly in the Reuters poll:

https://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/donald-trump-thanks-kanye-west-for-boost-in-approval-rating-w519854

That's good, it means it's totally meaningless for midterm election results.

If it holds, we are going to see more Michael Jackson's about.
