Read through the memo twice. How did this memo undermine our national security?  Seems the Democrat complaints were BS.  

This is all pretty straightforward.  

The standard to receive a FISA warrant is high.  Under those standards, the Government has an obligation to present relevant facts to FISA that are favorable to the target of a warrant.  They failed to do so on 4 occasions, including the original FISA warrant and three renewals.

You do realize that in order to get a renewal of a FISA warrant, it has to be shown that it's actually getting useful info?  The Republican memo itself serves to validate that the Russian investigation should be continued.

I've been going through the right-wing parts of Reddit to get the other side's reaction to this story (since our own Trumpists seem conspicuously absent from this thread) and interestingly, it seems like many of their eyes have turned to Jeff Sessions, as they are expecting him to jump in and prosecute various people for some alleged crimes that I'm not clear on but may or may not be something involving the Clinton campaign colluding with the FBI (lol). It will be interesting if, when Sessions inevitably does nothing, more of the MAGA rand and file start trying to push him out in earnest.

I haven't watched him, but he, and the American version of Pravda he works forFOX News appear to be pushing "the memo proves it was all a plot between the Democrats and the FBI" conspiracy theory.

Pretty close to what I predicted back on Tuesday:

My prediction: the Gowdy-Nunes memo will attempt to falsely portray the entire investigation into Trump and his campaign's Russian contacts and other misdeeds as being started solely by the DNC or Hillary's campaign, while doing their best to avoid acknowledging that the Trump campaign hired one or more known or suspected Russian agents.

(Not that it was exactly hard. Wading though the depths of TrumpCo's cleverness doesn't get one's toenails wet.)

The lack of critical thinking skills as well as inability to research how the justice system works makes me sad, honestly. It was refreshing to see quite a few "Uh, guys, I love Trump but this doesn't say anything" posts before they got deleted.

Arresting political rivals is exactly what will make America great again.  That is completely anti-American.
