I dislike Jeb as much as anyone here but I would have preferred him staying in Tongue

Jeb: "So, tonight I'm suspending my campaign."

Audience: "No, no..."

Jeb: "Yeah, yeah..."

Man, this is really sad. I feel sort of bad for him, and i'm a person who really wanted him to drop out.

Do we have good speculation as to whom his voters will go?

This is emotional

Do we have good speculation as to whom his voters will go?

Mostly Rubio.

How so? They're pretty spread apart ideologically speaking. I would expect them to go to Kasich.

As a Democrat watching the Republican race from the outside, I'm glad Bush has dropped out. I'd like to see Kasich drop out no later than next weekend to see if Rubio has a chance to win over the former Bush/Kasich supporters and take on Trump for the nomination. I also think Rubio would do much better in a GE than Trump.

It will de facto be Kasich. Rubio's too conservative compared to him and Jeb felt betrayed by his protege. Serves him right I say.

Jeb: "So, tonight I'm suspending my campaign."

Audience: "No, no..."

Jeb: "Yeah, yeah..."

There were like 2 people in the audience who appeared saddened by this.

This was probably the most emotional concession/drop out speech I remember in quite some time.

This was the right decision on Jeb Bush's part. There is no real reason for him to drag it out any longer. Ben Carson should probably pull the plug as well and unless Kasich can do very well in Nevada on the 23rd then there will not be any point in him continuing his campaign either.
