Not sure why her reversal of position would make her a FF now. It took a massacre for her to switch her position away from a battle flag that flew under a vicious government and was later made famous by the Ku Klux Klan.
Sorry dude, but there wasn't really a legion of Republicans or Democrats adamantly calling for its removal before this. People give Truman a pass for being a huge racist early in his career because he eventually did the right thing. People give LBJ the same forgiveness for his sh*tty civil rights record as a Senator because he came around and ended up supporting and signing the CRA. Robert Byrd - who literally was a Klansman - is more or less completely forgiven because he said sorry!!
I expect the same treatment - at least on this issue - for Haley, Graham and everyone else calling for its removal.
I know that you really don't like the southern wing of the GOP, so why are you defending them?
In fact, the Confederate flag has been controversial for a really long time, and has made its way into big politics, including in Presidential races. It was an issue in 2000 when McCain was pinned about past statements in favor of taking it down. In 2008, Romney and McCain both said it should be taken down and were chastised by the southern nuts (as Southern-darling Huckabee, who I know you do not like and, to no one's surprise, defended the use of the flag).
A little research will show that legions of Democrats and northern Republicans have been calling for the removal of the flag from state-sponsored buildings/etc in the south for two decades. Why are you defending the likes of people who either stood against these efforts or idly by until an event which essentially forced their switch?
