Who the heck is opebo? I assume they were banned a while back, before I joined?

A confirmed pedophile. The less we talk about that individual the better.

but why is it when I look on the members list I can't find him at all. I should at least be given the option to view his profile and posts if for nothing else

Banned posters don't show up on the list.

I didn't know that. Thanks for the clarification. But I found him, anyway by the search button

September 2019 was the first month since September 2017 in which the total post count was below 40,000.  Still running about 20% ahead of the same month four years ago though.

Oh my god that means I contributed to nearly 2 percent of the posts of the site this month. I need to stop forever

The correct way to state this was "opebo is a Thai, you see."

I guess I'm in the elite 40,000 post club now.  It'll still be years before I crack the top ten though.

Is there a way we can break down, like month by month, who are the most active users?

I would be interested in knowing what banned user has the most posts and what banned user has the least posts? I am almost certain Opebo is the most for banned users, but I don't know about least

Wow lol. But are there banned posters with only ONE post? Because if so, they would be the lowest for a poster who actually had a real quantitu.

olawakandi, while below 30,000 posts, has been posting at a crazy high rate, with I think about 875 or so posts in the past month.  I think that if, in the unlikely event that everyone's posting rate from the past month were to be kept up indefinitely, then four years today the top 3 would be something like:

1) BRTD ~105,000 posts
2 or 3) Tender Branson ~70,000 posts
2 or 3) olawakandi ~70,000 posts

Al, who is currently in 2nd place, is only making about a 100 posts a month these days, so he's unlikely to reach 70,000 in the next four years.

Out of general curiosity, if you took my October track record, what would I be like in 4 years

I made 683 posts in October if that helps at all

I meant what ranking would I be at, since I thought that if you were doing that for OC, you would be willing to figure out rankings for other users.

You would be at just under 35,000 posts.

I never got why you guys put so much stock in sheer numbers of posts, When at least 90% of BRTD's posts are crap does it matter?

Ah, I see.  The problem there is that 35,000 or 40,000 or whatever isn't even high enough to get into the top 10 *now*, let alone four years from now.  I'd have to look into the posting rates of dozens of people in order to get anything accurate.  In the case of olawakandi, he's posting at such an insanely high rate that I only had to check on a few likely suspects (BRTD, Tender, Antonio, etc.), to see where he'd land.  Even then, it's possible that I missed someone.  I know IceSpear, for example, often posts at an insanely high rate, but he hasn't been doing so recently, so if his current rate kept up, then he wouldn't be near the top of the list four years from now.
