I dont see a path to the nomination for Romney.

Romney has no path to the nomination.

again, there is no path for Romney to the GOP nomination...unless the rest of the field implodes at the same time (ala Gary Hart).

But, Romney has no path to the nomination....never has.

Romney still has no path to the nomination unless every other GOP candidate fumbles multiple times, and a late comer could still win it

Not that Romney would have won the nomination (he never had a path to the nomination)...

Romney's only path to the nomination is by default: 1) every conservative GOP candidate disqualifies him/herself…2) no one else enters the race...

there is no way the jmfcst's of the gop are going to vote for romney

dude, [Romney] is done, stick a tea bag in him

Romny has no path to the nomination...short him

jmfcsts are closet socialists, so obviously they are not going to vote for a businessperson.

Will you still feel that way if Bachmann is the last non-Romney standing?

Huntsman would become the antiRomney before Bachmann would have a chance to rise again.   No one is listening to Bachmann anymore.  She has earned the disgust of the jmfcsts.

She's actually hanging around in Iowa surprisingly well.  The last poll had her in low double digits, which, considering the fluid field, is not a horrible place to be in at this point.

I'm not really sure what's causing that in IA, but she's in the low single digits elsewhere cause she's attacked so many of her fellow Republicans, she comes off as a batty ambulance chaser who is willing to nuke the whole party to serve her own purposes...and that does NOT play well within the GOP primaries.

Probably the advantages of organization and quasi homestatishness.

Except that you've also said that he has a 10% chance of winning the nomination (which you've now revised down to 5%).  Having a nonzero chance of winning the nomination is not consistent with having "no path to the nomination".

Ergo, this has not "remained constant".

Romney's only path to the nomination is by default: 1) every conservative GOP candidate disqualifies him/herself…2) no one else enters the race...

Cain died a Gary Hart death...Newt has the potential of dying a Gary Hart death...so there is still a chance for Romney if all the current anti-Romney's die and no other anti-anti-Romney arises (e.g. Huntsman) and no other anti-Romney jumps into the race.

but if Romney badly underperforms in IA and NH as I am expecting him to do, his chances go to 0.1% regardless of how many Gary Hart's die.

The one thing that has remained constant: The jmfcst's flip-flopping on which candidate they support.  One month it is Perry, the next it is Cain, and now it's Gingrich. Who's next? You're making John Kerry proud...

You don't seem to understand: candidates are not gods, rather they are simply tools.

The jmfcsts are in charge here, and we're the machine.

And if I were you... I'd never make the mistake of bringing this subject up again.

I am Trautman, not Murdock. In fact, here is a good video of us after Romney wins the nomination:

Yes, you were Trautman, I was Murdock...but Romney is no Rambo, which is why I'm comfortable being the braggart Murdock.  Wink
