When the JCP changes their ways, maybe we'll consider.  Until then you certainly can't play the moral highground

The JCP has improved considerably.

Perhaps you should tell a certain member of yours to stop lying to our own members in private to get them to defect. "Our" ways?

The name change passed because it passed. There was some controversy, but I like to think we dealt with it swiftly & justly.

Was there a "deal" or is DWTL hallucinating?

You expect them to tell us the truth?

The BoD is a farce. The important work is done elsewhere.

As someone who can actually access the board of directors, I can tell you that is not the case. Your information is either old or incorrect. Its mainly were used for proposals by the more senior members to get opinions of the other senior members. Nothing has emerged from the Board of Directors that had real bearing in the last two months.

The Board of Directors is also lucky to have more than a post or two a day & at one point went unused for about four months. It saw the most use in the late December scandal since we knew the regular board had been compromised.

Honestly, who are you really? You weren't even around! Xahar is no hacking master, you can blame PiT for the breach.

Here is his resignation letter, if you're interested.

Dear Atlasia,

Now, you are all familiar with the events of today. Now that the dust has had some time to settle, I would like to give my account.

I first received Ben's password about a month ago. The purposes I used it for have never been malicious. I have rarely if ever used his account on this forum; however, I have used it elsewhere for comedic purposes (namely, reading the RPP private forum). When his display name and avatar mysteriously changed, the culprit was NDN/Mint and not me.

On Saturday, I noticed something strange on the RPP board. It was Sam Spade, whose account had not been used since the middle of 2007, and he was performing administrative functions. The next day, yesterday, a triumphant thread appeared by downwithdaleft announcing my impending demise. Details were left out due to security concerns, but I gathered that Sam Spade was to announce some sort of proof. I had only just learned that the forum tracked IPs of browsing users as well as posting users. The pieces all fit together.

Desirous to confirm this, I contacted SPC. When he suspected my identity, I decided that it didn't matter and sent him a few weird PMs. I then went to supervise my brother as he went to bed, and did not return until morning, by which time the story had already broken.

To all those whose trust I betrayed, I apologize. I have already apologized to Ben privately, but I wish to do it again publicly.

I maintain that my aims were not malicious. All I wanted was to get a good laugh or two. Laughter, after all, is the best medicine, and I have been feeling under the weather frequently as of late. I would recommend the RPP boards to all, and to promote the general welfare and achieve Atlasian strength through joy, I suggest that the RPP make its boards public, so that we can all partake in the same fun that you do.

I would also like to point out the double standard involved here. Both the moderators and the Atlasian courts have long ignored the continual violation of the account of a different source of comedy.

With that, I end this letter, and I bid you Good and Good Luck!

Sincerely,
Xahar

It's had a number of names related to me. I believe at this time last year, it was "If Xahar gave you this link, go away."

I find the RPP/PCP's obsession with you to be fascinating.

Ah yes, because you publicizing its existence led to several forumites attempting to register. I recall Bacon King, Rocket, & two people who we did not recognize.

Good evening Indianapolis! This convention sure has been exciting. We've had PiT replace MasterJedi in the Presidential race. We've had a name change. We're almost an entirely new party; we're definitely headed in a new direction. I'm proud of that. We've come a long way.

Despite changing the name, I'd like to state my full support for Regional Senate seats. The Regional Senate seats are an important component of the Atlasian Experience. I know that a fine one resides right here in Indiana. Wink The Progressive Conservatives are currently contesting four seats and I can only hope that they all finish their races successful. These elections are lively and exciting for the first time in many cycles. Progress has been made.

Speaking of progress, I'd like to tip my hat to the Northeast region, of which I am a resident and a Representative. Creating the legislature was an amazing feat, and the turnout was extraordinary. I hope that even more show up for the October elections. The amount of activity on the regional level in the Northeast, the Mideast, and the Midwest is impressive. The Governor's are active, the voters are involves, legislation is passed at a constant rate. It truly breathes life into the game. I can only speak for myself, but I'd oppose any attempts to break down the great regions we have built. Even the Dirty South has seen an activity and voter increase, hopefully the trend continues. I'd like to ask the Pacific to step it up and prove to the rest of us that they too can be productive.

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, about what this all means. What does Atlasia stand for? And I've come to the conclusion that she represents all of us, and that therefore, we must take care of her and respect her. Due to this "epiphany", I realized that we must be building, growing, and living Atlasia. For too long Atlasia has been operating at levels far from optimum. We can do better. We WILL do better. How, you might ask? By voting for the great ticket of Fmr. Sen. PiT for President and Fmr. Sen. and current Speaker Smid for Vice-President. Together, we can take at Atlasia to new heights and make a better nation.

On that note, I'd like to introduce Presidential nominee PiT! Thank you Indianapolis! Thank you Atlasia!
