There was a grand total of one day when Trump had a higher standalone approval rating than Obama at the same point in his term.

Sad.

Yes, I am mad that you have so much influence over our national elections.

It's just a state that is almost tailor-made for me to hate it in addition to all that: the politics, the crazy and weird events that happen down there, the climate, the wildlife, that my dad and so much of my family lives there. I could go on.

Orlando is nice enough.

THANK YOU AMERICA!

Very solid. So long as immigration doesn't become the number 1 issue again after COVID is over, midterms might not be so bad.

Just 10 months ago 80% of the country thought we were on the wrong track. What an amazing turnaround. Biden's steady, boring hand is exactly what we need after the countless disasters of the past four years.

President Biden's approval is shaping up to be even more stable than Trump's (dis)approval.

iirc June/July 2009 is when Obama's approval started to dip.

Maybe Fuzzy's plan of fetishizing Jews will work one day

Quote from: JDF
Another key finding: 25% of American Jews agree with the statement that “Israel is an apartheid state,” including 38% of Jews under the age of 40.

I wonder if 25% is lower or higher than the US population as a whole. Excellent poll either way.

Not shocking. Nothing of importance has hit Biden's desk since the stimulus, countless heavily vaccinated blue areas are mandating masks again and there has been no progress on healthcare or cj reform. Hopefully the infrastructure bill will give him some momentum again. I still think he's doing a pretty good job all things considered. But he needs to fight harder.

I wonder how much of this is Afghanistan-related and how much of it is COVID-related. From my anecdotal experience, non-partisan Nebraska voters are more disgusted by the COVID situation than Afghanistan.

Yeah, in my bubble people are getting annoyed with Biden because he's low energy and not delivering on domestic promises re COVID, healthcare etc. No one is upset about leaving Afghanistan but then again I don't live in Dunwoody or East Cobb.

So Biden has bottomed out at, or just under 50/50. For as much as the media harassed him over leaving Afghanistan, that's not so bad. But we need to see infrastructure within the next month or two.

2024 is a looooong way off. Weren't Reagan and Slick Willie down big around this time?

Still, Biden needs to push Congress harder, issue more executive orders and do something to appeal to younger voters, where he seems to be slipping the most. He's been very quiet recently.

Biden needs to make his presence known and do something for the people. I'm sure there are some executive orders he could sign, why is he not taking advantage of that power like Trump and Obama?

ARG economic survey (monthly), Oct. 17-20, 1100 adults including 992 RV

Adults:

Approve 47 (-3)
Disapprove 47 (+1)

RV:

Approve 47 (-4)
Disapprove 48 (+2)

FWIW, it's also all-time low for Biden in ARG.
Wow. Is the bottom coming out for Brandon?
Brandon?

Don't ask.  It's a right wing nut job joke referring to Biden.

It's about as clever as "libtard."

I've heard so many right wingers in my circle say this Brandon joke.  The same people routinely use the N word.  Or talk negatively about trans people.  Or judgmentally about gay people.  This is the current Republican Party.

Why do you have people like that in your circle?

Trashlolger at it again… also 65% approval with Dems???

A non negligible amount of Biden disapproval is coming from the left.

This thread is literally impossible to have a conversation in because of olawakandi spam.

I get you guys think this is cute but I wish we could actually talk about Biden's polling.

You know you don't have to post here.

Let's see if this small bump lasts. With gas higher than it's ever been before, I doubt it.

Anecdotal but 90% of the political Georgians I interact with on the day to day approve of Warnock and disapprove of Biden. A big gap between the president's approval and the GCB is perfectly likely as such a large number of Zoomers and millennials are anti establishment Berniecrats.

D+5 seems too high though.

Anyone think there's a chance Biden and the Dems are peaking like a month too early? Biden should sign an executive order on weed or something else that's popular to keep it up.

Voting starts in many states in the next few weeks, so I'd say he's peaking (if he is) at close to the right time as we head into this final stretch

If this was one of those Biden -35 polls you all would be dismissing it and treating it like an outlier. This one should be too until proven otherwise

Biden's approval is probably not that high, but the trends are clear. Every poll has shown him gaining a reasonable amount.

The ego on Biden is astounding. How he can look at these numbers and say he's the only one who can beat Trump is pure ego.

What else is he supposed to say?

"Hey I'm retiring" might work.
