If he has all this overwhelming evidence THEN REVEAL IT.

Put up or shut up!

Disgusting.

There is no place in America for domestic terrorists.

It's pretty sickening, though unsurprising, that Trump may get away with his delay tactics.

If he does then our justice system is truly f**ked.

And Garland is incompetent for dragging it out as long as he did. All of this should’ve started in 2021.

This is really Biden and Merrick Garland’s fault.  They should have appointed a special prosecutor to get this moving on their first day in office.  Waiting two years to move on this is an enormous failure on the part of Biden’s administration.

Not Biden’s fault. This is all Garland.

The alternate mediaverse that most Republicans exist in has convinced them (of course) that Trump is being treated unfairly in all his court cases:

Most Republicans in new poll believe Trump’s legal cases are being handled ‘unfairly’

"It's unfair to be held accountable for criminal actions!"

But also, "lock her up!" and "hang Mike Pence."

Seriously?

This should’ve been handled a long time ago. No way this gets done before the election, and if Trump wins it all disappears.

You can literally attack the country and get away with it.

This was the case.

It’s over before it began.

I’ve been reluctant up until now but Supreme Court reform is absolutely needed. This isn’t a Supreme Court—it’s a wing of the Republican Party.

This case is going to fizzle out now, unless Biden wins. Justice hinges on the presidential election.

The Supremes will hear it late April, with a decision maybe by June, and IF the trial moves ahead it will likely be October-ish at the earliest, thus making it mostly null and void in terms of its impact on the election.

If Trump wins there is no trial.

Domestic terrorism is acceptable now I guess.

People here have told me how I’m wrong about this but Garland should’ve moved on this so much sooner than he did instead of pushing it back until the last possible second.

Such a f**ked up justice system. You can try to overthrow the government and get away with it, if you’re well known and powerful.

Trump’s plan to use Judge Cannon to block Judge Chutkan and avoid trial

Quote
Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers see a major opportunity this week to use his criminal document mishandling case in Florida to create an impasse on his calendar for the two federal judges overseeing his major criminal cases.

Juggling his campaign and court calendar and playing his cases off one another is a key part of Trump’s legal strategy. The ultimate goal, his team has said openly, is to prevent Trump from being tried in federal court before voters cast their ballots in the 2024 general election.

A primary aim for Trump’s legal team, according to people familiar with the strategy, is to put the judge in DC overseeing the 2020 federal election obstruction case, Tanya Chutkan, in a position where she can’t start a trial before Election Day.

“Meaning, ice her,” said a person familiar with Trump’s trial schedule strategy. “Making it impossible for her to jam a trial down before the election, by things that are out of her control.”

https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/26/politics/trump-judge-cannon-chutkan-trial-plan/index.html

For all the talk of Trump's defense team being dumber than a bag of bricks from people here and elsewhere, I think they've actually done reasonably well in their efforts to delay all of Trump's trials but the weaker New York one.

It's the only strategy they have, because he's obviously guilty.

It's paying off. The Supreme Court may have killed the entire case, due to how far it's going to delay things now.

If the president has full immunity then Biden can “make things happen” to ensure he stays in office. Got it.

Republicans are really going to sacrifice the entire nation and all it stands for, for Donald effing Trump?!

Expand the f**king Court.

Either that, or Biden could “deal” with them once they rule that presidents are above the law. This is so stupid. If we have a country in which the president is above the law then we no longer have a country. The entire Constitution would be null and void.

Alito and Thomas genuinely deserve prison. I am tired of being told how intolerant I am for despising the people who want to destroy this country.

Everyone in a position to stand up to tyranny and treachery within our own country but chooses not to deserves prison at this point. We’re teetering on the edge and the Supreme Court is about to push us off.

Just try to fathom the logic of conservative justices: the President doesn't have the power to cancel student debt but has the power to assassinate his political opponents and overturn a free and fair election.

Republicans are the enemy of the people.
