Regardless, my use of the word 'leftist' is rather pointless, and I frankly don't care.

I really think you might want to stop while you're, um, let's call it "ahead."

The only way that sentence becomes valid is if she starts training to play professional ice hockey and then moves to Ottawa.

Such a bumper crop tonight!

No. Even if I think he would have done it if he'd ever had the capacity to think of it, George Bush was just too much of a dumb bastard to ever mastermind something that massive.

George Bush would not have had to have personally masterminded the logistics of such an operation, anymore so than he personally ordered the particular battle tactics being used on the ground in Iraq.

That doesn't mean he's absolved of responsibility for things that went on under his authority.

Maybe it's because the aliens who hybridized humans have influence over human governments? Wouldn't David Icke agree?

Well, I laughed anyway. Tongue

It's Jamespol.  He texted me saying something about my cute ass - something Jamespol would joke about when I'd talk to him on AIM.

Inks, when you phrase it like that, you sound like you're bragging.

Maybe Jamespol could be played by Andy Dick.

Why does South Carolina's state flag look so Middle Eastern? Coincidence?

Yes, South Carolina was obviously founded by jihadists, as was the state of Al-Abama.

Actually, Morgan, THIS is the Comedy Goldmine portion of that thread: Wink

I was looking at other apartments available and found there are possibly some cheaper to the west of here. Of course I had to look at the precinct they are in. My precinct is 89% Obama. Well this area is more like 87.5% Obama. This made me suddenly think "ugh, now I don't want to move there."

89% versus 87.5%?  Are you telling me that 1.5% of the population there didn't vote for Obama?

How come there are so many Liberal Athiest/Agnostics on the last few pages, if not on the entire forum? Sad

Attention whores.

That's right: Libertas accused others of being "attention whores". Cheesy

I was a member of the Democratic Party ever since I could first vote. I was loyal to my party for years sadly my party has not shown that same loyalty, since 2008 I started supporting republican candidates, I feel angered by the party mainly the leadership who have sent my party on a crash course.

According to your profile you are 19.  You just can't teach that type of loyalty.....

I was driving home tonight and just as this was mentioned on the radio, I drove past a huge crowd of people in a line that stretched from the shopping plaza almost into the street.

I didn't know people still did this for video games but I guess I'm glad it wasn't for Harry Potter or some other nonsense.
Oh whatever... your crush on Ron hasn't escaped us, Phil.

and a week later.....

Keystone Phil's Pennsylvania:  Everybody plays soccer, goes out stumping for GOP politicians, and then goes out for spaghetti and meatballs.  It finishes off with a few pictures of Phil shirtless at the beach.

Phil, watch out...looks like someone has a little mancrush on you.

Paging Dr. Freud...... Cheesy

More from the "Dreams with Atlas members in them" thread:

I distinctly remember having at least one dream with an Atlas poster. Which is strange, because I don't really know what any of you look like. I vaguely remember a personified, giant walking and talking D-MN avatar, with arms and legs.
Was it normal and rational... or was it headbanging and making poll after poll in the yes or no format?  Or was it trying to hug you?  Or sing to you?

This is very important.

Um, funny because utterly unrestrained lassiz-faire economics were major or primary contributors to many of these things? Huh

Oh "libertarians"---the rhetoric of Angela Davis combined with the economic policies of a Fortune 500 boardroom.

I just finished reading this thread.

Slaughterhouse Five now seems quite normal by comparison.
