I was looking at other apartments available and found there are possibly some cheaper to the west of here. Of course I had to look at the precinct they are in. My precinct is 89% Obama. Well this area is more like 87.5% Obama. This made me suddenly think "ugh, now I don't want to move there."

And yes, even I am embarrassed by that honestly.

Of course my current area is only about 47% white and this area is more like 80% white so maybe that is more impressive...

No, of course not. Why would I care about what precincts voted for Obama or McCain?

It based on their personalities. yup, yup. *nods* I stay away from politics when socializing.

I am more embarrassed everyone in my class thinks republicans are for big government then anything else. And one just registered to vote.

I think if we were to base it of politics then no one would really like anyone. Especially since politics change so drastically every 4 years.

89% versus 87.5%?  Are you telling me that 1.5% of the population there didn't vote for Obama?

ARE YOU F---ING KIDDING ME?

That sounds like the most horrible, ungodly hellhole on the planet Earth.

CD-16 in the Bronx was 95% -- why not move there instead of your embarrassingly Pro-McCain areas?

Considering that most people chose to live somewhere, whether subconsciously or openly, based on class, ethnicity, race and religion, I wouldn't be too embarrassed. It's better than deciding to live somewhere because there's less "crime" aka less browns.

Everybody does this to an extent. I'm probably trying to hard to play devil's advocate.

No, I think he might be telling you that 11% and 12.5% respectively did not vote for Obama.

I meant to say that 1.5% more of the population didn't vote for Obama.

Even a gay couple choosing to live in a state where gay marriage is legal?

They are, insofar as "big government" is a thing.

Yeah, a vast majority of my in-person friends are conservatives. Eg: my best friend is a hardcore Tory, another girl I know is anti-tax to the max, the girl I met yesterday is a Romney fan/closet Republican.

This. Seriously. Your strange obsessions seem to be affecting your ability to function as a human being now. If you can't make a decision that would obviously benefit you solely because of a lousy 1.5% difference then you seriously have a problem.
