Oh, I dont know where you're at States (Gamestop etc), but if its not walmart, then perhaps it should be.  My local walmart puts the new stuff out promptly at midnight and you can get a copy...no pre order, no lines etc.  Unless you're getting some sort of discount or free content for going to x place.

Holy crap, it's badass and I've just scratched the surface. Seriously, if I say it rocks, take my word for it.

The commercial for it featuring Jimmy Kimmel and Kobe was amusing.

Pretty good. There were some things I liked better about Fallout 3 though.

I was driving home tonight and just as this was mentioned on the radio, I drove past a huge crowd of people in a line that stretched from the shopping plaza almost into the street.

I didn't know people still did this for video games but I guess I'm glad it wasn't for Harry Potter or some other nonsense.

I don't get how Call of Duty became such a big deal in recent years. It was just another war game back in the day.

I Purple heart the Cold War, Bay of Pigs theme in the game. Especially since I got to kill body double Castro.

Is this one of the good Call of Duty games? I heard that every other release tended to be a quality title (Call of Duty, CoD 2, CoD 4, CoD Modern Warefare 1 and 2), but others are pretty crappy.

Well it took me about three hours on one checkpoint last night, but I finally got the Cold Warrior trophy. Ugh. BTW it appears I am really beating StatesRights in trophies.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, playing in a bowl sucks.  Plus it's (Black Ops) pretty laggy on the PC.  I'm going to pass.

I liked the food and health system in Fallout 3 better though it's kind of grown on me. Just took some getting used to.

Plot is a lot more non-linear, which can make deciding what to do next kind of confusing. The karma meter still exists, but it's not so important now, rather you decide what to do with various groups and they have their own opinions of you. Works well in some ways but you can easily get piled up with quests and not sure what to do.

I heard there was a lot of glitches with VATS. Is that true?

Haven't noticed any really. It does seem a bit weaker though, I use just straight up shooting a lot more than I did in Fallout 3.
