Imagine running a statewide campaign on a platform of fighting against cancel culture... Republicans truly trying their best to stay relevant in Georgia.

Why don't we just lock this thread and wait until the polls close?

Why? Speculation based on random anecdotes is Atlas tradition.

Georgia will find a way to make the counting slow, trust me.
Have to find those extra ballots to put Warnock/Ossoff just over the top.

Good.

I am once again asking VARepublican to stop harassing posters without an avatar.

It’s fine.

Oh my god WHO CARES. Nothing matters until 7.

I actully disgree with this

This is one of the few elecions that I think turn out can tell us a lot about who is going to win the election even before 7pm

The reality for GOP is that unless they get over 1 million people to show up to vote than this electon is most likely over and the only question is going to be how big will the Dems margin of victory be

Well the thing is we won’t know exactly what turnout will be until the votes are counted. Also we don’t know exactly how big turnout Republicans need to win. So it’s all pretty pointless speculation here.

Northam had a commanding lead this morning but the race has gotten really tight.

How come every single really postive bit of news feels like sniffing pain killers off of a super models ass
and every bit of negative news feels like I just watched my childhood dog get hit by a bus

Because deep down you’re a pessimist so bad news hits harder and your brain shrugs off the good news.

Still think Perdue and Loeffler are slight favorites. We knew that Dems would likely outperform Biden in the early vote, but the e-day vote is still the big unkown.

If the early vote is so unknown then why do you think the Republicans are favored?

...

Maybe I should break out the lotion and tissues.

I would get them ready but still wait to bust them out (pun intended).

Ossoff becoming a senator is the perfect middle finger to all the Republicans who laughed at him for losing the GA-06 election in 2017.

Speaking of, haha to Karen Handel as well.

Did he forget about Jimmy Carter?

Jimmy Carter lost but the Dems were able to hold the House. However, Bush in 1992 lost the WH, Senate and House also.

Democrats had the Senate and House for Bush's entire term, so it's not the same.
Well, the Dems in 1932 retained the majority they gained in 1930.

The tweet says in a single term, not a single election. Hoover lost the House in 1930 and the Senate & Presidency in 2020. Trump lost the House in 2018, the Presidency in 2020, and the Senate in 2021.

That 90 year Hoover presidency.

Was gonna say: has anyone checked on Millennial Moderate? though if hes banned i'm okay with that too

Still here.

With Dem control of our government, my desperate attempt at reverse psychology comes to a successful end. Have a lot more to say just more concerned with the traitors at the capital right now

Reverse psychology.... ugh your mind. So powerful.
