>mfw Trump voters are sent to re-education camps in January

The Senate Majority Leader won't allow it. Because GOP will probably hold Senate, no?

Send them Senators to re-education camps as well, no?

A victory in GA, even only by a hair, would basically put an end to all the speculation about Trump bringing the result to the SCOTUS. I’m genuinely disappointed that Biden couldn’t muster a narrow win in NC as well.

I dumped 50€ on Trump ending up with between 240-269 EV on a betting site.

For a reward of 450€.

Hopefully Biden does NOT win GA !

Biden winning back the Blue Wall is just fine.

It could work if Biden wins GA, but Trump somehow holds onto PA.

Recent batch from Montgomery County (mail)

Biden 25857 (84.2%)
Trump 4792 (15.6%)

83k outstanding in the county

Good percentage for Biden.

I wonder how the trumpists here feel about Trump blatantly disregarding all democratic norms and possibly throwing the country into civil unrest by declaring victory and baselessly claiming voter fraud way before the crucial swing states were even near finished counting totally legitimate votes?

Isn’t this one of the main reasons many voted for him in the first place?

25k now. I think it only goes downhill for Trump from now on.

Peters up by 18k.

I wish NYT had their needle on all the swing states.

With the exception of Georgia, they picked the wrong states to put a needle on.

I think it made sense for them to choose FL, GA and NC. They count relatively fast, and a clear Biden win in 2 of 3 would have meant that they could call the election early.

How worried should we be about a faithless elector if Biden wins 270-268?

Hard to say before we have somewhat final results for GA and PA.

could be a random county that came in for senate but not prez. Lots of Detroit still out, Peters should be fine.

I sure hope so.

Not worried about Peters.  Running somewhat behind Biden, but he will make it.

Regarding ME, major ticket splitting appears to be in play in favor of Collins.  But she is running below 50 right now.

What would the next step be if Collins ends up with say 49%?

God help us all... but the "Biden steals the election" conspiracy theories have begun to spread to Germany, apparently among AfD supporter circles. Just saw a German text that explained that Biden is able to "steal" Georgia because Brian Kemp is a "RINO governor" and then this guy went with "why did Angela Merkel donate to the Clinton Foundation... what we witness in the U.S. can happen here too" etc.

Kemp is one of the most conservative governors in the nation.

Who are you to use facts against a conspiracy theory?

I get that conservatives wanted a republican Senate. A republican House. Republican Governor. Republican state legislatures. Buy why the actual f**k would you want this unhinged moron to be your President for another four years?!

The fact that Trump will lose but the GOP kept control of the Senate and gained in the House tells us that a lot conservatives *did* want the first things on your list but not Trump.

I had an email discussion a few weeks ago with an old friend of mine (a conservative/libertarian economist) in which he said that his dream outcome for the election was for Trump to lose every state while the Republicans ended up in control of both houses of Congress.

Yes and no. While yes, there are conservatives who did not vote for him, I suspect they make up only a small percentage. Trump got 7+ million more votes than last time. If we take into account that he did lose said conservatives, this would mean that at least 10 million people voted for him this time, but not in 2016. Crazy.

Absolutely. He also would’ve won the state if everyone who voted for Biden just didn’t vote!

Those damn democRATS and their propensity to vote. If only they would all move to another planet so that Trump could win all 50 states.

This is why getting the run-off with Ossoff and Warnock is important. Mitch is going to Mitch. And hopefully a Hail Mary happens and Cunningham squeaks out a stunner.

Not happening. Ossoff couldnt win the main election and trailed Biden badly. If Dems have the White House in January, Republicans will turn out in droves to keep the senate. Turnout for runoffs, even in 2008 when a filibuster proof majority was at stake, has favored Rs

Ok. One, all you Doom sayers or haters have been wrong on a lot of things. Second, elecorates change, new voter registration is until December 7th for Georgia to vote in that election. The narrative is different and Ossoff with Warnock (who is running against an unpopular Senator) could drive turnout. At least having the chance, no where did I say he would win but at least get the chance. But please go doom say somewhere else, you guys are super annoying.

I hope both the democrats lose. I want divided government.

If that happens Biden won't even be able to appoint a cabinet. McConnell has already signaled that he's not going to approve anyone Biden puts forward unless they are conservative.

Compromise or die.

Honestly, I would rather die than accept the compromise McConnell would offer.

I don't like Ivanka but it's clear that she the least crazy person in the immediate Trump family. She's the only one out of her dad and brothers that has not tweeted about phantom "voter fraud".

For some reason, I actually think that, out of all his kids, she would have the best chance in 2024.

There's this really cool button at the top right of each post. It's called "ignore." In SN's case, I strongly recommend you take advantage.

He’s one of the posters who basically made me register, just to be able to put him on ignore. However, the fact that many keep quoting him does not help...

Because Republicans are, at their most basic element, thirsty?

Haha, no idea. Just a gut feeling.

I'm skeptical. I think America's bone-deep sexism, particularly among Republican voters, would doom her chances.

Fair point. I just think that she’s the only one capable of capitalizing on DJT’s legacy. The others are simply too stupid imho.
