I won't clog up this thread too much responding to everything, but I am in no way "set in stone" on my opinion of him, and I will certainly do more research; I didn't even know who he was a few weeks ago.  However, from actual things I have heard him say so far, I have not gotten the impression he is intolerant or doing anything other than voicing his opinion that a desire for political correctness should never trump free speech ... and I largely agree with that, as do most mainstream liberals to my knowledge.  If my further research leads me to the conclusion of some of the posters here, I will obviously change my opinion.

In honor of International Women's Day, I'd like to say this again:

Modern feminism is horrible, evil, and has no place in modern America. While there was always an evil side of feminism (there is an evil side of every idealolgy), the evil side of feminism has completely taken over.

I bet feminist mothers abuse their sons regularly.

(Also, would "every ideology has an evil variant" qualify for this thread?)

While I can understand feeling this way in a country like the U.S., I do think that there are parts of the world that desperately need feminism. Mexico, for example, where women are being brutally raped and murdered at a higher rate than ever, and the government and police don't seem to care at all.

How would the US respond if someone tried to cut off our oil supply? That Pearl Harbor was in part a retaliation for the embargo--seen as an act of war in a war which we were officially neutral--is an objective fact regardless of what morals you want to apply and how just the embargo was or wasn't.

I don't dispute that. But the take that we should "bomb into dirt" any country that embargoed us on oil today is heavily deranged. As well as the idea that Japan was somehow the victim in 1941.
