This is what happens when a losing party doubles down on their extremism and insults the voters who swung away from them. Beautiful

Fetterman is winning, GLORIOUS. Two more years of ramming our life term judges down the throats of Republicans.

It’s all going to come down to Georgia again.  Adds for Thanksgiving and it will end with Warnock winning.  **** hell

You can still hope to be spared that with Warnock winning outright tonight.

It takes special talent on the part of Republicans to have a 9% inflation rate and still lose.

Ron Johnson is only up by 0.2%, Republicans might have to worry about that one too.

We might actually be seeing a significant polling error in favor of the Democrats, another humiliation for that industry.

ok so D's control the senate and R's the house
what benefit does this have over R's controlling both ie the senate by 1-2 seats?

does some green legislations get passed?

It's looking doubtful that that can be called tonight.

Looks like Axne may be able to hold on by the skin of her teeth...

That is a Trump district, no excuse for Republicans to be losing it without even having a terrible candidate.

Maximum possible chaos scenario: GOP picks up the House, but by like 3 seats. They can't find anyone that can unify the caucus to become Speaker of the House, so a couple defect to make one of those "unity coalitions" we sometimes get in state legislatures, and we get a GOP House with Nancy Pelosi as Speaker.

If it comes down to a single seat or maybe two, I think Pelosi is skilled enough that there is a very real possibility she could persuade a Republican to switch parties.

My exact senate prediction is currently looking likely. I had Dems winning PA, AZ, and NV, but losing GA.

I hereby replace MTtreasurer with you as my go-to "this guy is good at predictions." Congrats!

NV is longgggg gone.

AZ is gone for Gov. Not sure about Senate

Unbelievably, it is still possible that Democrats get 52 Senate seats and are able to codify Roe in January.

I remember when some people pretended WA-SEN, CO-SEN, NH-SEN, and NY-GOV would all be competitive races, and some especially smug "red wave" posters thought it was inevitable they'd all be closer than WI-SEN/GOV for example.

Ah yes, earlier today.

Good times.

NY-GOV might be one race where the GOP isn't underperforming expectations by that much. It looks to be single digit. Zeldin is still probably giving the GOP 3/4 extra house seats.

Classic NY counting bias lol.

There are basically two possible GOP responses to this:

1. Accept that Trumpism is a millstone around their party that will always alienate a huge part of the general electorate, and they need to cut their losses and move on from it ASAP.

2. Go full fascist, try to declare all the elections they lost illegitimate, and cling to Trump even if it means civil war or suicide.

Who wants to take bets on which route they go with?

The slightly smarter Trumpists will say this is what happens when he's not on the ballot to juice their turnout.

If Barnes is the only one to lose, we can still prepare for the rest of BBB to go through.

Imagine this election without the inflation.

Or a Trump 6-year midterm with Dobbs, double-digit House PV margin surely.

I thought inflation and the economy was going to dominate this election, even over abortion.  How did you Republicans screw things up so badly?

I wonder if passing the Inflation Reduction Act helped.

NBC Decision Desk says they will NOT be able to call House control tonight.

Did ANYONE expect this going in???

My subconscious must be an election predictions genius, I had a dream where this happened and one that called Joe Cunningham winning in 2018.
