Biden is at 50.1% of the popular vote and with a fair amount out on the solid blue West Coast, he could easily clear 51%.

Yup.  Per NYT, Trump's lead now down to 64,520.

Why is it Wayne County when it should just be Detroit?

Quick question since I'm just now getting back online - anyone know the story with the NYT needle saying Biden is favored in Georgia? Is that legit or is there some weird data oddity somewhere?

Legit, based on the outstanding absentee ballots in Atlanta.

Thank you to the morning crew here. You are way more substantial to talk to then the night crowd Smiley

Probably as they're less sleep-deprived.

Biden actually has to get a lead in MI, ya know.  So far he hasn’t.

He's only 2k off at the moment.

Roy Cooper has now won North Carolina twice as Trump (likely) wins it, this time while we lose a Senate race too.

I think he’s a good option for 2024. Southerner with purple state appeal and strong executive experience.

2024 will be Kamala Harris having first refusal.

This is a worst case scenario election for Dems

No, that would be a GOP trifecta.

Err, are we 100% sure about Arizona here? Biden's lead has been shrinking for a while now.

Wasn't that bc E-day vote was coming in?
Hopefully. But if the remaining ballots are E-day as well we're in trouble.

Maricopa County is releasing more results at 9pm EST.

If Arizona was potentially going to Trump then wouldn't we have gotten some indication from Fox or the AP regarding their calls? I doubt that both of them would be so confident as to not only call it, but then reaffirm that they were, in Fox's case, "100% sure" if they didn't actually know.

They weren't using the erroneous data feed.

If they thought Trump could win it, they would not have called it.
