It’s no doubt he has the virus since he had close contact with Hicks all week.

I’m worried if he does actually have it that he spread it to Biden at the debate.

Most people who get it don't spread it to anyone.

Unless he's asymptomatic, I don't see how he could hide it. If he shows symptoms, we know what's up. Likewise if he's still MIA a week from now.

If Trump dies, what are the chances that a sizable portion of his base writes in Trump instead of voting for Pence because they think that his death is a deep state hoax and he was actually betrayed by Mike Pence, a secret deep state agent, and thrown into a secret, max-security prison

I think they have to vote for Trump. People are already voting. The electors are allowed to vote for Pence for Pres and an RNC choice for VP if Trump dies.

Couldn't ACB testify remotely? The Senators are a different story because remote voting isn't allowed (yet!).

Usually when he's silent on twitter this long it's followed up by a huge retweet storm. It's happened several times in the past month. I wouldn't read too much into the silence, yet. If it goes a full day, I don't think that's happened in over a year.

Since making the announcement last night, Trump hasn't tweeted. And it's already afternoon in Washington. That's not typical for him, even if he's traveling abroad. Maybe he's in worse condition than they have admitted so far.
That would be quite the rapid escalation, Corona usually kicks in slower.

Well, do we actually know when exactly he was infected? But if it was during the debate trip or shortly thereafter, that would spell a lot of trouble for Trump.

Not for sure but since he had been testing negative (granted the rapid test has a significant false negative rate) it could be in the last day or so, so symptoms this early is not a good sign.

If it was last Saturday that would be a lot better for his prospects.

No joke, this could rip through the Judiciary Committee at the most inconvenient time imaginable for the GOP.

The current GOP senators that got infected are only quarantining for 10 days instead of the 14, because ACB's hearings begin in 10 days.

They are almost certainly going to pull out every stop to ensure that the Judiciary Senators quarantine for as little time as possible

I thought 10 days was what the CDC recommends now vs. the 14 from before.

If she becomes president after November 3 and Biden has won, would she appoint him VP and resign so he can get an early start?

The Senate (and House) would have to go along with that.

No clue but I'm sure the QAnoners have a perfectly rational explanation for this.

I believe off the record means you can't report what you're told. It's basically an FYI. On background means you can report it, but not reveal the identity of the source.

Both parties have to agree to off the record, also. You can’t say something and go “what I said was off the record.” A lot of people don’t understand journalism.

Well there certainly seems to be an agreement in that video. Now maybe during the conversation he said something like you can report this or that, but it's clearly not a retroactive off the record.

He dosen’t look well 😬

He hasn't painted himself orange.

I thought that was well. That's his face without whatever crap he puts on it after executive time.

Is it for sure that those are the times they were taken vs. exported?

Theory:

The videos and photos released today were staged and taken back on Friday before he left for Walter Reed. The EXIF data on the photo released today was manually edited to make it appear that it's recent when it actually isn't.

They manually edited them to be 10 minutes apart?

I'm still not convinced it isn't just the export time, or the download/save time, or something else. But I don't know if it works like that.

Trump tweets like this in caps all the time.  Y’all are reaching sooooooo hard if you think this is not normal.

1 or 2 is normal for him. Not 15 in a row.

I think being admitted to the hospital, because of a potentially life threatening situation, is something to be scared of.

Trump is going to spend the next four weeks getting shot full of steroids and amphetamines so he has the energy to campaign, isn't he? This is basically Late Hitler.

And he wanted Biden to get a a drug test for performance enhancers!

Yeah...Covid-downplaying when he was transported to a hospital several days ago is not a good strategy. This will hurt him.

It's not the downplaying that'll help him it's suggesting we open up. A lot of people, especially undecided younger people really want that.

Younger voters do not trust a word Trump says. I really don't know where this idea that 18-35-year-old voters are magically going to break hard towards Trump because OH YEAH BEER PONG AND 69ING, BRO is coming from, but it's not going to happen. Trump has been pushing hard for reopening for six months now and it hasn't moved the needle with young voters, or anyone else for that matter; why in the world would that change now?

The fact that it's been seven months and a lot of people are getting stir crazy. Of course that idea wasn't as popular when this was all new.

Trump's also trying to ban TikTok. A court injunction is the only reason you can still download it.

So, um, let's just say that he does actually...succumb to this.

How long before we actually know?

If you mean if he dies we would know almost instantly. Secret Service would be on it immediately to give a full detail to Pence. He has to be sworn in to have the powers of the office. It won't be under wraps, and he wouldn't want it to be.
