If Warnock is seen as antiwhite, he could lose to Loeffler.

Loeffler and the GOP will use the white patriotism card

Both races are tossup

The Georgia GOP has been race baiting nonstop for as long as I've been alive. In fact, in 2022, someone called my (very white) parents and told them to vote for Stacey Abrams to be Georgia's first B L A C K governor. Seriously, it was like she choked on the word, and sure enough at the end of the call it went "paid for by the Republican Party of Georgia." Anyways, I think those strategies are nearing their expiration date, since the hick vote is already maxed out and I doubt people in the metro would be swayed in great numbers by a message they've been absolutely inundated with.

We will see.

Tom Cotton is attacking Warnock, saying that he hates police and military, tying Warnock with Jeremiah Wright.

You have to admit that Republicans are good at messaging

If Democrats talk about defund police and all this other stuff, they will be in the minority despite the promises they have this decade with economic inequality

I doubt Loeffler will be invited to Ebenezer Baptist or any other Black church after this....

But politicians shouldn't be visiting churches in the first place

The socialism thing is what Democrats have to try to tamp down from now on

It's all Republicans talk about, socialism, socialism, etc.

Also, the police thing is killing Democrats electorally.

I wonder if the Georgia police unions made any endorsements.....

Both are pretty mediocre. Loeffler is completely plastic and fake. Warnock is pretty underwhelming and hasn't attacked Loeffler well. Didn't defend himself well either.

Either one of them would be DOA in 2022

stfu you were the one who thought biden would crash in nassau and suffolk and he didn’t, you are more robotic than loeffler

I'm surprised that Trump didn't win Suffolk outright; the Back the Blue effect was strong but not enough to win these counties outright

Tennessee Sen.-elect Bill Hagerty calls Ossoff a national security risk.

Hagerty was the U.S. ambassador to Japan until he decided to run for Alexander's seat when he retired...

Is Hagerty angling for a veep position in 2024?

Should Ossoff say something about his China connections?

Blackburn, Cotton, Hagerty and McConnell could refuse to seat him if he wins....

If Ossoff wins, he is seen as a 2028/2032 presidential contender

He'll be a top 2026 target by Republicans

Some want Joe Manchin or Krysten Sinema to switch parties this week, if there is a 50-50 tie.

I don't think that would happen.

Manchin controls the Senate and can personally shut down anything his enemies on the left flank want. He's much more powerful as a Democrat than as a Republican, especially if he's retiring after this term.

Sinema seems even less likely. She's a mainstream center Dem like her fellow AZ Dem Senator.

True.

You have to admit that Mark Kirk was a good guy. Easily the most liberal Republican Senator this decade.

Gordon Smith as well.

Ossoff did better with Black voters than he did in Nov

Ossoff 93%, Perdue 7%.

Ossoff is doing the same with White voters than he did in Nov.

Ossoff 29%, Perdue 71%.

So no democrat majority after all?? I'm not sure whether to trust this (yet).

"Close" door?

Manchin is a Democrat. He is a centrist Democrat, he is not switching parties.

Warnock could be defeated in 2022, so GA will be watched for a while.

Also, Ossoff could be a Senate lifer, or future presidential ticket member.
