News outlets will not be allowed to broadcast former President Donald Trump’s arraignment on Tuesday in a Manhattan state court, a judge said Monday night.

New York Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan rejected a request by several media organizations, including CNN, for permission to broadcast the historic proceedings.

Five still photographers will be allowed to take pictures of Trump and the courtroom before the hearing begins, however.

Trump’s arraignment – like most arraignments in the Manhattan courthouse – is a public proceeding, but news cameras are not usually allowed to broadcast from inside the courtroom.

What I don't understand about the conservatives claiming that this is a political witch hunt... why did the grand jury vote to indict then? If Trump is so clearly innocent, then why didn't the grand jury see it that way? After all, they had access to all sorts of evidence and information that the public didn't. Are the jurors all in on it? Are they on the Soros payroll too?

This is noise unless he is convicted we saw in Kenosha WI Rittenhouse Acquitted, so until Trump is convicted and I am in law school it doesn't matter , and since Manchin maybe running don't close the door for a Trump return he would love it for Manchin to split the Biden vote like what happened to Hillary Biden still has Hunter Biden Laptop and can still lose but it would go to 50/50 not 100 percent win or lose, right now Biden has an 80 percent chance of winning because of low unemployment not if Manchin runs

Your “opinion” is wrong. The judge made the decision because NY has a law that bans video-taping court proceedings involving testimony. It’s why court TV never broadcasts NY court cases

To be fair all that really means is Trump made 34 transactions, and there was an underlying crime he was trying to cover up. It's not really possible for some to be misdemeanors and some to be felonies since there was either a covered up crime or not.

What I'm interested in is what the underlying crime was. Having an affair isn't a crime, so it's likely campaign finance violations or some other type of tax fraud (some have pointed out that if Trump tried to declare some of the payoffs to Cohen as tax deductible that would be tax fraud.) Some have also speculated there was blackmail of some type to Stormy Daniels also going on that was being covered up.

These Indictments doesn't erase the fact Biden still is under Federal investigation from an independent council on Docugate and Hunter the polls today were released showing 44(44 as I said before if Manchin gets in, it goes from 53/47 Biden over Trump to 51(49 allowing Manchin to split the vote, we just got so complacent in Trump indictments that Biden was an 80% fav to win with Manchin it's 50/50 all Politicians are crooks Clinton and Bush and Trump and Biden
