Well, folks, I've got some bad news to report.  The wedding is cancelled and the engagement is off.  She was getting very frustrated and I just found out from my parents that she came over to their house last night and gave the ring back to them and called it off and rattled off a bunch of bolognae.  It's just as well as she has a LOT of growing up to do before she's ready for a husband.

She may not be the only one.

Just thought I would let everyone here know that I have a Valentine!!  The Valentine is of the female gender!!  I'm going to be a whole lot more careful with this one, so I probably won't post about her a whole lot.  Her name is Susan, 25 years old, from good ole' Choctaw, Oklahoma.  She has no children, and never even has had a boyfriend before.  We're just starting out as friends and we're going to let the Lord lead it from there!!

Facebook status at 12:35 CT on 8/14/10: came back to OKC early today after hearing the awful news about my girlfriend. She was taken by ambulance to OUMC on Friday complaining of symptoms of a stroke. She is home now and they have determined it was Bell's Palsy. Please pray for her. She is going through a really tough month and it just keeps building on her.

My thoughts are with her and her family.

No, but he's given me the peace I need and the financial wherewithal.

According to RR Bushie and this new girl may be going on a date.

We're just going to meet first, with the company of Brooke.  Plus, she lives like 45 minutes or an hour away, and until I get a job I won't have the gas money to go down there by myself.  She might be able to come up here, but the man is supposed to do the travelling first.

Which is why is many lesbians lead sad lonely lives. Just sitting at home, alone. Waiting for a woman to come to thier house knowing full well that it wil never happen.

Agreed. This thing needs a swerve. I know this was suggested 50 pages ago but, Bushie, Are you sure you have no intersest in becoming a member of the GLBT community? It's not like you're doing so well with the ladies and if you sign up by March 15 you get a free tote bag full of Broadway Musical Cast Albums.

I will be getting my free DIRECTV service installed this Wednesday morning between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm.  I say it's free, but in reality it is HEAVILY discounted.  I will be getting their highest package which includes all the HBO's, Showtime's, Starz, and all the other premium channels as well as their MLB Extra Innings, NFL Sunday Ticket (if there is NFL 2011), NBA League Pass, NHL Center Ice, and NASCAR Hot Pass, which is easily an $800-$1000 value all for about $6.00 a month.

Okay I understand all the sports ones except the NASCAR one. All of their races are on either network TV or basic cable. So what does the NASCAR hot pass offer?
