Just to catch and correct a BushOK if there is still time: while Diet Coke/Coke Zero is a step in the right direction, Sierra Mist and Sprite are not healthier alternatives to Dr Pepper.  They just don't have caramel coloring.

This transfixion with soft drinks is just a whole new experience for me. I have pretty much ignored them myself. Smiley  transftratratra

He can't afford to drink an $85 bottle of wine with every meal.  Heck he probably can't even find something like that in Oklahoma.

Get a bottle of Pinot for $12.  Problem solved!

Or a nice two buck Chuck from Trader Joe's.
Wine isn't exactly good for the waistline either.

I am gearing up for week 2 of Transition which begins officially in 18 hours 15 minutes as of 8:00 pm, at 2:15 pm Monday.  This is the final week under the training umbrella.  There will be a little "graduation ceremony" this Friday from 3:00-4:00 pm to congratulate us for completing transition.  This week, I will also meet my team leader who I will report to starting next Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 3:15 pm.  They will sit in on a call with me and then take me to where they and their team sit and introduce themselves.  That should happen by the end of the day Wednesday.  Monday, I will have 6 hours 10 minutes on the phone, same as I had Friday.  Tuesday and Wednesday, I will have 6 hours 40 minutes on the phone, and Thursday will be a full 7 hours 40 minutes on the phone.  Friday will be 6 hours 40 minutes just because of the ceremony.  I took 65 calls last week and that was in a slower phone bank and less phone time.  This week, I will be in the floor queue, meaning calls will be coming in faster than last week.  I need an average handle time of under 1100 seconds, preferably under 1000 to graduate transition.  I ended week 1 with an AHT of 1196, which is really, really good for the first week.  I'm right on track if not a bit ahead.  The goal by the end of March is to get my AHT down to 660 seconds (11 minutes).

So, in other words, the week ahead, while it is still considered Transition, which is still under the Training umbrella, I will basically be doing everything the floor does.

I'm also hoping I can perform well enough to get my first promotion by June 1 or July 1 to the position of Coach.  If I can become a Coach, my schedule will go back to a normal Monday-Friday schedule and I might be able to switch back to mornings, potentially, such as a 7:00-3:45.  At the same time I could still work 2:15-11:00 in the evenings.  Coaches assist the Transition Team Leaders in assisting the agents with questions and taking supervisor escalated calls from agents.

Agreed. This thing needs a swerve. I know this was suggested 50 pages ago but, Bushie, Are you sure you have no intersest in becoming a member of the GLBT community? It's not like you're doing so well with the ladies and if you sign up by March 15 you get a free tote bag full of Broadway Musical Cast Albums.

Haha, thanks, but I'll pass. Tongue

Anyway, I think I can throw a little spin onto this, cautiously, though.  I am about to start looking again at eHarmony.com or maybe a Christian Singles dating site.  I feel I'm ready to take on a new relationship.  I am also having my friend Brooke, who introduced me to Susan, and my cousin Sherry help me look around.  Both of them go to pretty large churches and they might know someone there.  Brooke has told me she would help me get a profile up at one of the dating sites on one of my days off.  She is a stay-at-home wife and mom herself, so she is home pretty much during the day.  She wants me to come over to her house next Monday, February 28, on my day off.  I gave both of them a couple stipulations that I want, make sure they can drive and are gainfully employed!!!!

Why don't you start something with Brooke? She sounds like she's your type and this thread needs some adultery. (It's not as if adultery is a worse sin than Ameriplan, Bushie)

In regards to the wine bit, hasn't BushOK said he's never had a drop of alcohol in his life? Explains a lot actually.

I believe he recently said he had had his first alcohol drink.

Yes, I did have one sip of an Amber Ale on the Fourth of July 2010 at our local amusement park, Frontier City.

I may or may not do eHarmony, but there are several free sites out there, or at least some that advertise that they're free.  I'll take a look at the options.

I will not start anything with Brooke, although she did say before while I was with Susan, and in the presence of Susan, that if she weren't with her husband, she'd be with me.  That started the beginning of the end between Susan and me as she didn't think I put out that fire fast enough or good enough.  She was trying to make Susan feel as though she made a good choice with me, but it backfired on both of us, and it finally came to an end officially a month after i left ONG.  The relationship with Susan officially ended on August 24, 2010, though I think in her heart she ended it when I last saw her on July 31, 2010.  Anyway, that was 6-7 months ago, and I'm past her.  While I don't have much money (although I'm awaiting a sweet tax return), I am going to try to find the free sites, especially Christian dating sites with Christian girls.  I know there is someone out there for me, and I believe God will find that girl and bring her my way eventually.  I'm not worried about it, because I'm enjoying the single life right now, but it doesn't stop me from fishing!!

Could some of my more medically inclined friends answer a question for me?

What is the difference and the relationship between Benign Essential Tremor and Parkinson's Disease?  My doctor this past Thursday diagnosed me with Benign Essential Tremor, and he said it could lead to and is a form of Parkinson's Disease.  From what I've read online so far, B.E.T. is a cousin of Parkinson's.

Yes, during that whole sordid episode our 'in-house Reverend' managed to break an impressive number of Commandments in a very short space of time.

You might want to consider asking your doctor for more information rather than the internet. When it comes down to medical issues I don't think the internet is a very good advisor.

I've looked the Mayo Clinic website.  I have a friend of mine who a nurse somewhere in Edmond, and I asked her the questions last night and she thinks its nothing to worry about, which I agree, and she pointed me to the Mayo Clinic website.  She says the problem with internet sites is they HAVE to give you every single MINOR side effect, even if only one person studied has that particular side effect.  She said the bark on the internet is a lot worse than the bite.  She trusts the Mayo Clinic website, though.  My doctor said, though, that the BET will probably worsen with age and there is a chance it could morph into Parkinson's 10-40 years down the road.

I do have good news, both my A1C Hemoglobin Diabetes Test and my left shoulder x-ray came back normal, so that's a good way to start a Monday.  I figured they would, but it's great to hear they did.

Bushie, we all want you to be healthy.......but are you focused on the right things?  Here is the info for 1 burger......you had 3:

Calories :  445

Fat: 7.1 grams

Cholesterol:  71 mg

Times that by 3 and add for condiments

Now THAT is something to worry about.

Ouch!  However, I did pinch about six french fries off the plate of one of the Hispanic painters in my house yesterday, when we sat down together for lunch. I blame that on the munchies however; I consider that a mitigatory fact. Oh, and I learned a couple of more Spanish swear words; it was a very good day. Smiley
